I haven't logged into HB in a looong time since I've been pregnant and had my baby but I am counting on you ladies for some advice.

Since about 2-3wks old, my baby has developed this strange noise. He makes it while awake, especially after eating, when he gets excited/worked up, and even when he is just quietly alert.

It is very very hard to describe so I've included a link to a youtube video of him making the noise (please turn your volumes up!) It sounds like he is clearing his throat or sucking in short little breaths. It is most noticeable in the first few seconds around 30 seconds in, and around the 1:00 mark.

It is NOT grunting and his lungs are clear. Pedi has said it's normal but there's something nagging at me. I've never known a baby to make this noise, especially more often than not! It's now getting to the point where family and friends are commenting on it and I am a stressed out first time mom!

Help?
