A Cornocupia full of BFPs aka November 2013 POAS..

@ShayNanigans: I had that experience, Clomid gave me stronger symptoms even if BFN. but I hope it turns into BFP for you!!

@bhbee: yeah, it's so tough to tell. This is my fifth cycle on clomid (I did succesfully get pregnant on it, but miscarried,) so I'm pretty familiar with it, but the first time on 100mg, and the first time I've been able to skip the trigger shot and estrogen. These are definitely uncharted waters this cycle for me. At first I wasn't worried about iui happening two days before I O'd, but now I'm a little worried. Oh well - so much of this is out of our control! My Dr made the remark that if more people knew how many obstacles our bodies have to overcome to successfully create a pregnancy, they'd be amazed that the human race hasn't become totally extinct!

Is anyone else in the TWW have tooooonnnnns of CM? I usually only get CM right before my period and I'm not due for a week and a half.

@ShayNanigans: FX!!! I hate it when I think I have symptoms and don't know if they're real or all in my head. I'm only 5 dpo today, but haven't felt anything out of the ordinary. Last cycle I had a lot of nausea and dizziness, but wasn't pregnant. It's just like the most awful guessing game ever!

@littlek: Hi! I'm in the two week wait and do have some creamy CM, but definitely not tons.... But I have always thought tons of CM was a good sign. Have you heard that? What DPO are you? I'm 5. ugh...

  6. bhbee

    cantaloupe / 6086 posts

@ShayNanigans: I wish I could tell you if 100mg made a difference for me, but that was my BFP cycle so the symptoms were real! though I don't remember anything strong, even at 16dpo I think I just had cramps mostly. looking back I think it was mostly random which cycles I had more symptoms.

fx, 11dpo is early! and yes it is astonishing it works as much as it does!

@littlek: I've had lots of CM in the TWW both BFP and BFN so who knows . . . waiting is the worst!

  8. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@MrsMcD: i usually have CM but it's different this cycle for some reason. Like I feel like I have a UTI but I don't.

@bhbee: yay, I'm no stranger to it...

@LindsayInNY: I am just worried about being late or something. It just worked out that I started it on a day that I happened to work urrggghhh lol. I'm sure it will be fine this cycle and, while I hope that I'm a lucky first timer, if I go on to other cycles I hope to have it on a day I'm not working to skip the confusion. I did end up taking it last night.

@bhbee: Thanks, this made me feel a lot better! I knew some ladies get it prescribed on CD3 rather than CD5, so I figured my CD4.5 wouldn't be too bad haha.

@littlek: I had cm almost dripping out (sorry!) a few days ago for 2-3 days! I never get that much!

Another busy week around here! Huge congrats to @FaithFertility and @tigger223!!!!!!

@ShayNanigans: have you ever seen the show American Ninja Warrior? My husband and I joke that getting pregnant is like winning Ninja Warrior, my body is the obstacle course, and his sperm have got to have super human strength, balance and grip!

I'm hoping I'll ovulate in the next few days, hopefully before we fly out Saturday for a week away at Thanksgiving. Travel always seems to mess with my cycles, but it will be great to be gone for the first part of the TWW, to keep me distracted for a while at least.

@littlek: That happened to me this cycle, as well. I felt like I had UTI but I didn't. So strange. I also had that same sensation the month I got my BFP.

@MrsMcD: LOL no. I don't have any pictures of me doing yoga actually as I'm always in a class. Although, I did do this pose in class this morning! One of my rd avorites

@dc yoga bee: Isn't that a promising sign?? FX for you!

@Sprite: That is too funny, I love that show. I'm not far into the TTC routine, but I'm sure some people might also compare it to that show Wipe Out

So I've had 4 days of fertile stretchy CM, but unfortunately my husband has been out of town for all of them and will continue to be the rest of this week. So even if I do ovulate in the next few days I think my chances are pretty slim. You can put me into the rollover category.

I'm glad to see that my body is getting back into some sort of normal pattern since my miscarriage, but the timing just stinks. I hope some of this positive energy is carried into next month!

  20. Mrs.Panda

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@Kate6214: Oh I'm sure this positive energy will carry over! But I'm sorry for the crappy timing... On the bright side, like you said, you're body is getting back into the swing of things. Here's to hoping we have good Decembers!

@Mrs.Panda: I literally laughed out loud at the Wipe Out comparison, that feels about right over here too!

@Kate6214: Oh no, it really stinks that the timing worked out that way this month. I hope next month goes better!

How is everyone doing? Has anyone been hit by the POAS bug??? DH has all my tests, so that is impossible for me. It's actually not a huge deal since I don't think this is our month.

  23. jmarionsmith

    nectarine / 2132 posts

@littlek: i tested. 13 dpo and it's negative so i'm pretty sure i'm out. it took 3 iui cycles to get pregnant with lo so i'm not too bummed about it (since this was our first time trying for lo #2)

side note: i always had to sit out a cycle after an iui due to cysts so i probably won't be joining the rollovers in december but i am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!!

    @jmarionsmith: I'm sorry friend

  25. dc yoga bee

@littlek: I'm having fun lol. This may sound crazy since I don't temp but whatevs, I know my body. But, fertility friend knows me! For the past 28 cycles I start AF exactly when it says it will whether its 28 days or 27 or 26 days. The only time I did not was while studying for the bar, waiting for bar results, starting new job, and once again with promotion. Major major stressors that caused early or delay. Other than that I'm pretty consistent. So, FF says I'm 2 days late, I'm going to take their word for it. I didnt test this am bc I really had to go, and didn't have time to fumble with getting the test out of the wrapper lol!!! AF always always starts in the am upon rising, so if she doesnt show up tomorrow morning I'll take another test, which will be 18DPO. Either way I won't be upset at least.

Ugh. FF says I should be ovulating this weekend but my CM this morning was not of the EW variety. Really hoping this is the THE cycle...

@Cole: lol I don't know why the image of a giant arm swinging down and socking people into the water came into my mind but I feel like it's kind of accurate!

@dc yoga bee: Can't wait to read your update! FX!

    @jmarionsmith: Sorry to hear

I am still not sure what's going on with me yet! My cycle should be over by Sunday, so I should have an update one way or another by then, but with a negative test last night, I'm pretty sure I'm a rollover!

  32. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

    @ShayNanigans: what dpo are you?

  33. ShayNanigans

    cherry / 245 posts

@littlek: 12dpo today - but my temps are definitely dropping. Since I've been doing this for so long... I am pretty sure! Won't be definitive until I am back on CD1, but.... playing Vegas odds, I would guess that I am out!

@dc yoga bee: hope to hear some good news soon!

@littlek: I know how you feel...but we're not out yet! I've been distracted with potty training so I just realized I'm 11dpo today and now I'm itching to test but I'm going to wait as long as I can

  36. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@sandy: how is that going? I'm scared to death of potty training. B is all boy, he likes to pee on things.

  37. dc yoga bee

I have a question, and hope it isn't crazy, but does anyone think of how such and such may effect their hypothetical baby!?! Someone was smoking while we were waiting,to cross the street, and I was like oh no way hypothetical baby would not like! Or (knowing I'm totally probably not pregnant) I told the hubs my hypothetical baby wanted chik fil a

@littlek: she's doing awesome! @chopsuey had tons of great advice/tips on the 3 day bottomless method. Lots of accidents for 2 days and I almost quit bc it was nonstop pee accidents. But by the 3rd day she was going pee/poo in the potty all by herself. We did it Veterans Day weekend. Try recommend staying bottomless at home for 1 month and sometimes up to 3 months to reinforce them listening to their bodies. Wearing pants was an adjustment but after a few accidents she got it that pants are not diapers and she's doing great. She went to her drop off class today and she stayed dry for the 1.5 hours she's there without me.

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@sandy: Unfortunately staying home bottomless for 1 to 3 months is not an option because I WOHM. I've heard that daycare is amazing at potty training and that there is more "peer pressure" since all the other kids are doing it.
