Morning ladies!!! I hope everyone is having a great morning. Mine is off to a sucky start. I had an emotional meltdown over the item I am bringing to a work potluck. I literally cried for 10 minutes, which totally freaked out B and he sat down and cried too.. Then I find out everything is fine, so I cry again.. WTF.. I think B was glad to be dropped off at daycare this morning.

@littlek: Sorry for the meltdown morning!! I had one on Wednesday night that freaked DH out a bit - same kind of thing where something *really* not important triggered a lot of tears. Can I say I'm sure my hormones are all over the place?? Hugs to you for a better day from here on out!

@littlek: No, actually! I always have regular cycles, am on no meds, no previous bc, so I'm just like whaaaats going on!? 18DPO. BFN last night. My boobs are super full. Normally for AF they get a little tender. Not tender at all, just full (which is a new one for me!) But, I don't see a point in keep testing. Dr. Google shows ladies not getting BFP until 21dpo or more. But the oddsf that are slim! I'm sure she will be here this weekend I guess.

@dc yoga bee: what the heck?! I hope you get an answer soon (and hoping it's a BFP)!!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@dc yoga bee: That's weird... maybe you are testing at the wrong time? Have you been drinking a ton of water? That can dilute the test.

@sandy: that hot one would be so fun to do if it wern't for the extortionate cost of those things haha!
@littlek: hope you feel better but your LO sounds too cute bless him.
Has ff ever got anyone's o date wrong? Symptom wise I'm sure I ovulated late last night. Fertile cm totally gone this morning, sharp o pains (have had mid ones for a few days) really late last night, nothing this morning and slightly sore nipples on waking BUT my temp dipped today so if I enter future temps it says I o today... Wondering if I o'd so late last night my temp just hadn't risen yet as I temp at 6 am. Really hope this is the case as we didn't get chance to BD yesterday. If I o'd yesterday we would have BD o -1 and o-2 which are the best days...

@littlek: yeah, I drink a ton of water, but I either test with FMU, or do a 2.5hr hold after work, and don't drink any liquids so it can be more concentrated. I have one test left! Low back cramps are all over body soreness from a tough workout yesterday.

Well, AF arrived today so I'm out for November. I guess I'll be joining the December board.

@littlek: I think I might wait until tomorrow ( 12 dpo) That's the magic day right? I woke up a little later than usual this morning so im not sure how much that could have affected my temp.

@Lugrey508: holy moly, your chart does look really good! Can't wait to see how it goes

@littlek: I'm so sorry your day started off so crappy. How are you feeling now?
pomelo / 5607 posts
@dc yoga bee: Have you ever had a positive hpt? Some women's bodies don't metabolize the hcg into their urine, so they can never get a positive on an hpt. It's a long shot, but it could happen. Fingers still crossed for you either way!

@littlek: awww, lol! b is such a sweetie pie! He feels for you, momma:) sorry it started off rough; hopefully it goes well! What'd you bring?
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Torchwood: I've never been pregnant (that I know of)! But, I saw that on Dr. Google too! I don't know what to do. I should have AF by now! And we're going out of town for Thanksgiving, so I'd really like to know one way or the other by then.
pomelo / 5607 posts
@dc yoga bee: If it were me, I'd probably go in for a blood test if possible. But I also hate feeling like the nurses/doctors are thinking I'm an idiot if it's negative. Even though they're probably not even thinking it! At this point, it might be worth it just to try and figure out what on earth is going on. They can check where in your cycle you are (roughly) based on hormone levels, right?
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Torchwood: I just wonder if it's "late" enough for a blood test? I'm 18DPO, and according to FF (and my cycles start like clockwork according to FF), AF was due 4 days ago, according to plugging in my last 6 cycles into countdown to pregnancy AF was due yesterday. I don't temp.
pomelo / 5607 posts
@dc yoga bee: Is it ever really not late enough for a blood test, if that's what you need to set your mind at ease? I'm like you, very regular, so if I were 4 days late, feeling like you, but no positive, I'd be confused as well. (Though in my case I have gotten positives.) Especially with going out of town, waiting till after the holiday would make me stressed. But it's 100% your choice, that's for sure.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Torchwood: And we just moved to DC, so I don't even have a doctor! I guess I'd have to just go to an urgent care and show them my insurance card and ask for a blood test? If no AF by Sunday, I think I'll go to an urgent care on Sunday. Hmm, wonder if I could go on my lunchbreak on Monday lol, there's a place in the office park. They call with results right? Because I'll be 500 miles south come Tuesday!
ETA: You reminded me of something. Even though my dad is a retired Doctor, and I wanted to ask my mom when did she get her BFP, I'm not b/c no one knows we're TTC. But, I remember that each time my mom was pregnant she thought she had the flu, and went to the doctor and was 8 weeks pregnant each time. I wonder if she tested and never got a positive on the hpt?!
pomelo / 5607 posts
@dc yoga bee: They've always called with mine, though I've never gone to an urgent care for it. We moved recently too, so I'm struggling with where to go too! Good luck!! Lots of baby dust!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Torchwood: And we're looking to switch health insurance too. Gah lol! Hopefully, I get some answers soon!

@Lugrey508: where's the link for your chart? I want to see how amazing it is!

@MrsMcD: I'm better. I've been an emotional wreck lately. Major mood swings. Very unlike myself.
@TurtleDoves: Thanks friend. I made pigs n' blanket. Not very gourmet but cooking anything is a big accomplishment for me.

@littlek: Um, pigs in a blanket are my FAVE! And I never get them!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@dc yoga bee: You can go to your PCP and they can give you a urine test. They can also order blood work for you.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@dc yoga bee: I have a friend who never got positive test results, even when she took one as a joke at 8 months pregnant! I would definitely be seeking a blood test ASAP
@littlek: I'm sorry your morning was so rocky, hope it's better now. You just reminded me I have a potluck on Tuesday at my job!
ETA: littlek, just saw your update, pigs in a blanket are sooo good! And now I'm craving them lol

Do you think waking up 2 hours after I usually take my temp would affect that much ? Last month ff said I had a triphasic chart and that ended in a bfn ..

Did any of the Nov 22 testers, test? should I move you to a different date...
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Lugrey508: I don't know if I 100% trust charting except to show when I ovulated... so I stopped taking temps after I confirmed O. But I think as long as your temp stays high, it looks good.
