10 dpo today and wondfo was bfn - not fmu though (3 hour wait)
but... I got nauseous after eating a pb sandwich this morning, lasted all through grocery shopping and lunch prep then went away when I finally took a ginger tablet. I know I'm symptom spotting, and worst of all a part of me is so sure that I am pregnant. Fun fact: AF is due Tue/Wed, exactly two years after my BFP with DS!

@mrsvdv: Thanks. The very sad thing is, with a toddler and having been trying unsuccessfully, it's not very fun right now. I need to get that back.

I think this is the right thread to get some insight if anyone has any... AF this month is totally wacky or something else is going on. TMI alert.
I thought AF came Tuesday night while I was sleeping... let's just say I woke up to enough red to fill a liner but no clots. The rest of the day though it was almost like a heavy spotting, never enough to fill 1 liner, and it was pinkish, and turned brown. Then today, absolutely nothing all day except during a BM (sorry, major TMI). And just now, a little bit of light/medium brown CM. Usually once it starts, it STARTS. No idea what's going on and I almost wish it would just happen already so I can move on.
If it wasn't AF, I'd be 10 dpo today (spotting started at 8 dpo) - my LP is usually 12 days.. My temps haven't dipped, my boobs are still sore, and I've been pretty dizzy tonight.
I don't want to set myself up for disappointment again, so I'm just waiting for AF to actually show up, but it's hard to not think "what if". Help.
ETA: Had a PAP Monday afternoon and was told I'd bleed... but not sure it would be so heavy over 24 hrs later. But that adds to the confusion of what's going on down there!

I don't know how you all do it. TTC is so much harder on me this time around. I dunno. Maybe just a really bad day... but I almost feel like giving up on it...
I don't think I Oed yet... Maybe I'm not Oing at all... My body feels strange PP and my cycles are so irregular.
And I'm so sick of BDing. I feel so bad about not wanting to do it. But I think I need a break. My poor DH! Sometimes I even say: come on, let's get this over with... I'm such a bad wife...
LO is teething and just got over a cold and is breastfeeding like crazy... He's not sleeping for long stretches right now and neither am I. So I'm just tired and sooo sick of Bding... I really want to give LO a sibling and I really want them to be close in age (this would be “better” for me careerwise). I really do want another baby. But this whole TTC process ... it's so hard!!
Right now I think I won't POAS at all, because I haven't Oed or Oed yet... I keep using OPKs but I think I'll refrain from Bding for a while... I see no point in it.
(on a side note: I don't feel like PPD but is there something like a TTC-depression??)

Well, I have no more "symptoms" anymore. I know it's still early (9dpo tomorrow) but I just feel out this cycle. We had really good timing, so it sucks, but I guess it's just not our month. I will test on Saturday still but I'm totally ready for AF to show.
Hope you ladies are doing good and hanging in there!

And on a positive note, I'm currently drinking wine while getting my hair highlighted. So I'm feeling great right now

@lil owl: Sorry, lady. TTC can definitely be stressful. How old is your LO? Teething is no fun! My 15 month old is getting his molars right now

Add me back to the November list please Apparently my period arrived a couple days early and that bumped up my next one to 11/30 so my POAS date is now 11/30. FX we have a successful BDing week next week

@lil owl: congrats at breastfeeding. It's not an easy thing. Have you had AF while breastfeeding? I didn't have it for the first 6 months. Breastfeeding can cause you not to O. Breastfeeding is a very good thing though so keep up the good work. I'm just thinking maybe don't actively try just don't try, don't prevent? That way if AF does show up you aren't as disappointed. That and TTC sometimes puts too much stress on you to even get pregnant.

Tip: try not to make intimacy just about a baby. Enjoy that time with your loved one. Try not to stress too much about making a baby. I know it's easier said than done but stress can cause you not get pregnant, it can make you lose intimacy with you SO and it can ultimately make your relationship go in a bad direction. Take an hour out of your day today to do something not stressful and tell me about it.

@YogiRunner: It sounds like it was probably related to your PAP (which seems better than AF mysteriously starting 4 days early?) Still crossing my fingers for you!
@lil owl: I think there's definitely a TTC-related depression - hoping you get through it alright. You're not alone, that's for sure!
@SunnyFarmMama: Great news! Good luck for the end of November!
@JennyG: Oh no - I'm so sorry.

@lil owl: TTC IS hard. It's SUCH an emotional and physical roller coaster. Hang in there! We are here for you and feel your pain, literally! And I have def said "let's get it over with," completely normal and doesn't make you a bad wife! I'm definitely going to lay low after this month to enjoy the holidays and not obsess over OPKs and BD timing. It's exhausting in more than one way! Hugs and

12dpo today, still no AF, another BFN on a frer this time. Wierd thing is I took an opk just for kicks and the test line showed up super positive, even darker than the control line. I've already gotten 2 positive opks this cycle 2 days apart with a negative in between. Who knows, but I'm hoping I'm pregnant!
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@YogiRunner: I agree that it sounds like it was probably due to your pap. Have you taken a test though?
@JennyG: so sorry!
@lil owl: I agree that TTC when you already have another little one seems so much harder. And I have absolutely no libido right now, so I understand. Is it sad that I caught myself thinking that at least we get to do an IUI next time so we won't have to BD a ton of times to try? I love my husband and I think he's gorgeous and sexy but it's hard to feel like doing it when you're exhausted and stressed out.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
@MissLace: so I have three stories with positive OPKs around AF time.
1.) I only had a digital test leftover so on 10dpo with DS, I took two wondfo OPKs that looked exactly like yours, so I took the digital and it showed positive. full-term normal pregnancy no issues.
2.) cycle 2 I had a faint wondfo HPT so I took a wondfo OPK, that wasn't as blazing as yours, and it turned out to be a CP a few days later
3.) I had an OPK that wasn't as blazing as yours, but pretty near positive last month near AF time. No dice, AF showed shortly thereafter.
FX that yours turns out like #1!!!!
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@MissLace: whoa how weird!! When I was pregnant, I didn't get a positive OPK showing I was pregnant until I was about 6 1/2 weeks along, but had a BFP on a FRER from 10dpo. It would seem strange that you would get a positive OPK before you would get BFP.... but I think I have heard of others finding out this way, so maybe it's just different for everyone. My fingers are crossed extra hard for you!!!

OPK question here - I didn't get a positive CBE digital OPK, but I did get a positive wondfo (three days later than I normally O, and I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of it.)
Is it possible that a wondfo would have picked up O and the digital one didn't? (My brain is saying that's pretty unlikely, but the alternative is that I didn't O this month, so I'm hoping this is a weird thing that happens sometimes.)

You know my saga w crazy o this cycle! The positive wondfo came first for me! Along w ewcm and the morning after was postive cb digital and monitor!

@mrsjyw: thank you!
@MissLace: you can get a surge on an OPK before AF, or it could be due to hcg! Usually it will show on a pregnancy test if it shows on an OPK but you never know. Fx for you!
pear / 1788 posts
@raspberries: trust the wondfo! Their opks might be confusing to read, but they are the most accurate by far!
@MissLace: fingers crossed! Wait 48 hours and test again for full hcg doubling!
@lil owl: hang in there! It will all work out!
@JennyG: I have been there. My heart breaks for you. Hugs!
