A Cornucopia of BFPs - November 2014 POAS!

CD 15...thinking either yesterday or today was O day! EWCM is decreasing, and I got +OPK's on CD 13/14. Now to wait for a temp shift! Hoping I can see a clear solid O this month..i've been sick 2 out of three months I charted so far which makes it impossible to tell!

Even though our timing wasn't great (we hit either O-2 or O-3 depending on which day O turns out to be) I guess there's still a chance. we did what we could...figure we'll just be trying again next month! If I go into Dec...my POAS date will probably be Christmas! ah!

@EleanorRigby: glad to hear things have gone well for you and that you and your hubby are such a great team.

@lil owl: I've been BF for almost 10 months. How long have you been? I understand wanting another ASAP but I'm happy that you are going to continue to BF.

@MissLace: I hope you are doing well.

To everyone. I'm sorry that I'm not the best cheerleader. I try too hard.

@lil owl: I'm still breastfeeding my 17 month old and got pregnant no problem twice (first time ended in m/c). Good luck!!

@littleblessings: The team thing we've got going for sure! now if we can just get this baby thing happening we can grow that team!

Pretty sure this isn't gonna be our month since work/illness screwed up our timing but FX anyway!

@littleblessings: I'm still in limbo. My temps have been all over the place and FF changed my O date a few times, then the next day it got rid of crosshairs all together so I manually put O in on day 19 since I had I pains and the opks were positive. I'm now on 15dpo and still a BFN this morning, but no AF either. Just waiting it out at this point. This is especially strange since I've never had an LP longer than 9 days so I'm hoping I'm pregnant and it just hasn't shown up yet.

@Bluemasonjar: How's it coming this month?

@MissLace: That's so crazy - is it possible you O'd late? This would all be so much easier if our bodies had instruction manuals.

I tested yesterday and BFN. I'm not even sure if I O'd this month, so I'm not really surprised. This is the first month I haven't had O confirmed by CB digital, so I'm reallllly hoping it's just a one-off. On to December!

    Cycle Day: 34
    TTC Cycle #: 19
Ovulation and POAS dates: didn't track O this month, been POAS since 11/5; will POAS again tomorrow if still no AF
    Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: Tear my hair out... Ha. Take a break from charting, opks, etc. Waiting for DH to get SA done (having issues with insurance and the clinic and scheduling)
    Chart link: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3568c0

And just for fun... what's your favorite cold weather beverage: Hot spiced cider (with and without spiced rum)

I wasn't going to join this month, because we're on cycle 19 and I needed a break. We didn't temp / use OPKs this month, and I doubt we BD close enough to expected O to have a chance, but... My period is almost a week late.

I googled false negative wondfo, because mine expire this month, and it turns out that I have a bad lot! So I rushed to CVS this morning and bought a clear blue digi and just used it at work with SMU and :bfn:. I may buy some FRERs on my way home and try one of those with FMU tomorrow. I know 19 months is peanuts compared to some people's TTC journey, but seeing that BFN gets OLD, and I'm already AMA. I'm sorry I'm so negative. I just needed to vent somewhere.

@raspberries: Well I O'ed late so I am only 8dpO. The timing worked out better because my husband came home from his trip that weekend but we didn't get too many chances to BD. I am debating whether I want to POAS on Thursday or if I should just wait for late AF (fingers crossed). Thanks for checking in!

    @EleanorRigby: @ballerinabee: good luck ladies.

I have a question. I am on cd 12 and should O around cd 19 or so. I've been bf for going on 9 months Thursday and haven't paid attention to any signs since af returned 3 months pp. I am thinking about trying Ovulation test to make sure I am even having O, but when should I start testing? Like I say I should O in a few days and according to my app my fertile week starts Thursday with O on next Tuesday.

I know I need to be positive and patient, but this limbo is really making that tough this week. I hope I get a FRER in the morning, and if not, AF needs to get on with it so I can roll on to the next cycle!

15 dpo today and I'm the worst poas'er in the world! I decided to wait untill Thursday (AF due tomorrow) but caved half an hour ago after I'd been to the toilet three times already this morning... Anyway, I think I see a line but it won't show on camera. Could you please send sticky vibes my way? I'm praying this isn't another chemical...
ETA my temp hasn't dropped and I'm feeling nauseous, those are good signs right?

@misslace I meant to say thank you for all that info! Very helpful. I'm with you on the home remedies, especially since my doc just said to wait it out before doing any tests (we're 8 months in). I think I'll pay more attention to my vitamin C intake and consider the B vitamins for the longer LP... mine was 12 days this past cycle which is a record, but I also spotted up a storm for 5 days before that so I might consider it as a precaution.

How's it going by the way - Are you still waiting for a possible ?

@YogiRunner: no problem! my LP is the longest its ever been this cycle but i was spotting up a storm as well for 6 days. Still in limbo, its driving me nuts! still no AF but yet another BFN this morning. Yesterday i started to feel the slightest little twinges which could totally be nothing but i haven't felt ANYTHING these past 2 weeks. I'm either 14dpo (if i go by ff newest change on my O date) or 16dpo if i go by when i think i actually O'd. Not even the slightest bit of a squinter yet. I'm starting to second guess my spotting now even though i know it wasn't AF since its normally super heavy and the spotting was all pretty light (and TMI, brown), not a single drop of red at all. Soooo we shall see...

hi everyone! i am new to this board and TTC. still learning the all the acronyms. DH and I agreed to start trying for LO#2 this month, and i have never "TTC" before since our first LO was a happy surprise. I want to try naturally this month, without charting. I've only kept track of when i got my period and so the iPeriod app tells me when my fertile days are, so we are going to try in that window (maybe that counts as charting, i don't know!).

    Cycle Day: 7
    TTC Cycle #:1
Ovulation and POAS dates: ummm, i don't know! According my app, i am supposed to ovulate on November 19th.....so when should i POAS? I am brand new to this!
    Baby #:2
Your plan this month: to try during my fertile days according to when i got my period.
Chart link:none....where i can set one up if i need to in the future?

ps. I want to go back and read through this thread to get to know everyone, but will have to wait a week to do that....i am defending my dissertation next week and should totally be focusing on that right now!!

  40. raspberries

    pear / 1955 posts

@californiadreams: Some people POAS (pee on a stick) starting around 9 DPO (days post-ovulation), but some also wait until the first day of a missed period (usually 14 DPO). I'd rather wait so I don't waste money on pregnancy tests and/or have the mental let-down of seeing a BFN ( ), but it's completely your choice!

If you want to start charting, I'd check out fertilityfriend.com - the free version is still pretty good, but you can upgrade to a paid version as well.

    Good luck, and welcome!

ETA: AHHH! Good luck on your dissertation too!
