Here's an article that came out in the New York times quite some time ago (2007). However in light of recent threads, I thought it might be of interest to HBers.

It's an article I go back to from time to time, because even 5 years later, it is still quite a different way to look at our relationship with food.

So, if you take the time to read it, whether you agree with it or not, I think it's a great starting point for a discussion.

It's only natural that on a board dedicated to our children's well-being, that we take passionate positions on subjects like health and food. I hope that we can all actively debate this without feeling preached to or being marginalized for how we choose live our lives.
