Please tell me someone else's LO has gone through a refuse to eat phase. He's barely eaten anything in 3 days now, and normally eats anything! Almost 15 months old.

Is he not feeling well? DS1 basically only drinks milk when he's sick. When he's hungry he'll probably make up for lost time

We went through that for about 2 weeks . . . the first week she was teething and running a low temp, and the second week she had tummy troubles off and on. Every once in a while, she just really backs off on the amount she eats, and then for a day or so, she will eat everything and then some.

@matador84: absolutely. Whenever she's teething and or sick.

E's been like this off and on for the past few weeks, but he's also been sick. He's still drinking plenty of milk, though.

DS hasn't eaten much in the last few days either, but he is battling a cold.

Yup, started around 13 months and hasn't stopped yet at 19. He's just a light eater now, I guess. He doesn't eat dinner most nights.

I'm going to chalk it up to teething even though I don't see any yet. He could be working on his incisors, and has always been an early teether. It's just making me so sad and so unusual for him, won't even take tylenol! Other than that seems to be feeling fine.

That usually happens when my kids are right about to be sick and with my youngest, teething as well. I think kids can self regulate, but I also have to be on top of how much (or little) they eat just to make sure they eat enough to give them energy. Even if it means that I have to feed my youngest on the go b/c he doesn't want to sit down to eat. When they don't eat they get more irritated b/c younger toddlers can't tell you they are hungry. Hope it's nothing and that he starts eating more soon.

we're going through that right now, too. she's teething - just cut her 3rd top tooth and the 4th is right there. I think she's also in a finicky stage..she'll wolf down some things, but throw a tantrum to others.
