I assume most women are taller than their mothers. How much taller are you?
Mom was 5'3 and I'm 5'5.

Why do you assume that? Just out of curiosity

I'm always wearing heels so I'm always taller when we're side by side...however, I believe we're about the same height.

@Mae: If I think of all my female friends, they are all taller than their moms.

I almost voted I'm a Giant... but my mom and I are the same height and we are both giants.

Weirdly my siblings and I are all outside of my parents height. I have three sisters and all four of us are 5'7", mom is 5'8". Dad is 6 foot brother is 6'1".
But I agree it seems like usually every generation is a bit taller than the last.

I'm the shortest person in my family at about 5"2'! Mom is at least 5'6".
LO will definitely be taller than me! She's off the charts in length. DH thinks it's hilarious and is already plotting ways he and LO can tease me

I'm shorter by a little more than 2 inches. LO will most likely be taller than me though since she's consistently been in the 97th percentile for height.

My mom used to be 5'10", but I think she shrunk a little. I'm 5'5" on a good day, so she's still taller than me. BUT, I'm taller than my (older) sister by an inch or two.

I have 3" on my mom, who has 3" on my grandma. So, Im expecting C to be at least 5"10! lol

I think I'm about 5" taller.
@lamariniere: I kind of thought everyone was taller than their mom too! I'm surprised by how many people are shorter.

Nope, my mom is 5'2" and I'm 5' even.
My mom is taller than her mom though. My grandma is only 4'9" and has been her whole life (she didn't just suddenly shrink because she's old! Haha).
We're a family of shorties.

@MrsH: haha, that is cute about hugging your mom
@swurlygurl: I'm also surprised that so many people are shorter!

I think my mom's around 5'5"? I'm almost 5'7". But I'm adopted. My two non-adopted sisters are her height or probably slightly shorter.
