DD has been drooling a lot more the last week or so. She has had more of an interest in sucking things. Today I have noticed a white spot in the back on her lower left side. It felt hard. She is only 6 weeks. Could it be a tooth?

I've also heard of babies being born with teeth. Yay for a first tooth!

It could be, but the back isnt where teeth typically come in first, those come in later. My guess would be its a calcium deposit or an epithelial cyst or the tooth bud, but ya never know.

It's possible, but she would be more likely to get her front top or bottom teeth.

My dad was born with teeth!! My grandma had the doctors pull them and he then got baby teeth & adult teeth!

I know a lady who swore her baby was born with 2 teeth. I didnt believed her at first but then found out that this does happen occassionally but its usually the front teeth

Front lowers are typically the first to come in, so my guess would be probably something other than a tooth.
