@Keppa: Sorry you're feeling low, I'm hoping this month is the ticket for you and us all!
@Crystal: You're welcome! As far as your question I haven't had a m/c but I have read some women take as little as 2 months but others take a 5 or 6. It really depends on your own body
@Snowdrop: You're welcome, glad to see you over here!
@Eko: So sorry to hear about your loss but glad that you are back with us!
@PawPrints: I am considering not testing after this month because my temps are so crazy. Good luck with yours!
There sure are a lot of cheerleaders this cycle! I'm so happy to see everyone active on here and all the great support so far. Let's keep it going into the New Year!

What are your New Year’s resolutions? to be healthier!
This cycle has been weird... I never got a positive OPK, which may be due to the fact that I tested using FMU. I've also been sick since O day and my temps have been all over the place... Who knows what is going on with my body.

Trying new this cycle: I ditched to opks and stopped temping in an effort to make it a low stress month. I don't think our timing was great though so I am not really holding my breath.
What are your New Year’s resolutions? The usual-- pay attention to health, work on various household related things like doing laundry more often and meal planning. I lost about 15 pounds over the past few months so I want to continue that trend.

@babycanuck: this is my first time on one of these threads too, but we can do it together.

the probability of my being pregnant is SOOOO low for this month but that hasn't stopped me from symptom spotting at 4DPO. Ive had "food poisoning" on two separate days since i ovulated on christmas. One was yesterday. Probably just from a bunch of holiday junk but it's still hard not to analyze it and anything strange that i feel.

I love how many posts this thread already has!
What are we all doing to keep ourselves sane during the month?
I am focusing on my health, cooking at home more, and getting in shape.
coconut / 8498 posts
I'm staying sane by taking a trip and by visiting my parents for a while. It's more relaxing here.
That being said, I also want to POAS tomorrow, though it's ridiculously early. Not so sane.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Weagle: I haven't even gotten my first period since I m/c, and I still want to POAS. *Thats* crazy, lol.
How many DPO are you?
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Crystal: I have never been sane so that's asking a lot but since my chances are pretty slim this month I am taking it mostly in stride. Feb is when I will lose my mind. I also have a 15 month old who keeps me on my toes. I hope you get AF and get a chance to see a sticky baby this month!!! Ill be pulling for you and all the ladies on here.
coconut / 8498 posts
@Crystal: I have no clue! I don't chart, and the only clue that I use for ovulation is CM. My CM indicates that I ovulated sometime between CD6 and yesterday. There's been SO MUCH legit, baby-making CM this month... I don't understand. Today is/was CD17. Even if I ovulated really early, it's still too soon to POAS probably.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Weagle: hopefully that means you are super fertile and will get your BFP!
@MrsMccarthy: lol, me either! is that at your lo in your avatar? Adorable!
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Weagle: if you don't want to chart but you also want to rely on more than CM alone I recommend using OPKs or better yet The Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor. I can't temp because I co sleep and it becomes hard to get accurate temps but the monitor is really awesome.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Crystal: that is him yes! Thank you.
@Weagle: several patches of EWCM can be normal but it can also indicated anovulatory cycles so you might want to consider using other methods as well at least for a couple of months to make sure you are ovulating.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@MrsMccarthy: is that the $$$ monitor? Have you found it to be worth it?
coconut / 8498 posts
@Crystal: Let's hope so! And I know several people who got a BFP before getting a post-MC AF. Those several months after are supposed to be super fertile... They were for us!
@MrsMccarthy: I was going to start OPKs this month, but I got to stressed thinking about doing that along with all that comes with visiting family around the holidays. I'll start next month if There's no BFP this month.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Crystal: I got mine used on eBay so it was less. I haven't gotten KU with it yet and this month is not a good indicator since I only BD once in my window BUT it seems to be pin pointing my fertile times really well and I love having it. I charted before I had a child and It was such a pain temping.
@Weagle: oh goodnes honey! Well DO NOT stress. Maybe just DTD every other day instead or at least three times a week or anytime you see fertile CM.
coconut / 8498 posts
@MrsMccarthy: I have wondered about anovulatory cycles. My first two pregnancies happened the first month TTC. I feel like it's taken a bit of time for things to be "normal" after AF came back at 11 months pp. However, I'm not really worried as all signs short of a medical work-up seem to show that's not the case. I'm hoping I was just extra fertile
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Weagle: we ntnp this month since we don't know when things will regulate, so it will be quite a welcome shock if that's the case! We are not so patiently waiting for TOM to start so we can start timing trying.
As soon as it starts I'm ordering wondfos so I can more accurately time it.
I can't wait to see that BFP again!
@MrsMccarthy: you'll have to keep us posted with how it does!
olive / 60 posts
Whelp, it looks like I was wrong on my O date... my temp finally shot up this morning, which would put ovulation 4 or 5 days later than normal. Not expecting much this cycle, since we timed BDing to O-ing on CD 18 or 19.
I may still POAS on the 11th, even tho I won't technically be late till the 13th. TTC really sucks sometimes.
