How's this for crazy-TWW-Weagle?:
I actually questioned whether my cowlicks being a little crazier than normal might be a sign of pregnancy. Then I had to do a mental face palm. That's just dumb.

@Weagle: I love that you did this Who knows, maybe there is something to that afterall!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Weagle: That's *awesome.* I will admit that I had months of TTC when I would measure my nips because they are supposed to get bigger when you are pregnant. LOL.
I figured you all would appreciate this:
My husband tells me yesterday, post-BD, that he wants to make sure we are doing "everything we can to make a boy," even if it means our TTC process takes a few months longer. ?!?!?!??? Maybe he should be the one to POAlltheSs and stress over the TWW, then? Bear in mind, too, that I humored him the first time - we followed Shettles to the tee. And we have a girl. So, no, we are not voluntarily extending our TTC journey. Men! ::head, desk::

I'll have to wait a bit to add my POAS date (waiting for this anovulatory cycle to end so we can move on to IUI + injectables sometime in mid-Jan), but wanted to chime in with my wishes of good luck to all of you ladies!

@septca: men! After every time we have sex DH pats my stomach and says "see you in 9 months"..
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@littlek: I would just spread my fingers and compare the space to the electrical socket.
And I cannot believe I am actually admitting this.
@littlek: "I wish I knew how to quit you..." Ditto. But then how would I waste my time???
pear / 1846 posts
@septca: what did you say to him? If my DH said that the answer would not be pretty haha! I've read though that shettles is actually a load of rubbish and has since been proven to be more likely to result in opposite results (hence your little girl).

@Snowdrop: I just laughed and said, "Yep, we're doing everything right. Exactly like last time!"

@septca: i suppose the good news is that men are usually not interested enough ti do the research themselves sooo how's he to know what you're meant to do hahaha
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Septca Maybe two eggs will fertilize and you'll have twins!! Fingers crossed for you but it sounds like your chances are very good so you won't need it!!!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@MrsMccarthy: shut your mouth!! Twins scare me half to death.
honeydew / 7295 posts
As far as shettles I have read that results can vary by 20% and although its supposed to be easier to conceive a boy than a girl using the method some men make more boy or girl sperm so they are gonna skew that way anyway. My husband has admitted that he is a bit intimidated by having a girl because he feels like he will worry more about her and feel out of his element but we are not doing anything special to try for one or another. In the end I don't think there is anything wrong with trying though if you have always dreamed of a son or a daughter but you gotta take it all with a HUGE grain of salt.
Speaking of Gende For those who are working on #2 I'm just curious: was the baby center Chinese gender chart correct for you? It's been shockingly accurate for myself and all of my friends.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@septca: hahahha I've always wanted twins. The only reason I mention it is because both BF and being on BCP the month or so prior can up the chances of dropping an extra egg. If it happens you'll do great!

@butterbean: I just went ahead and put you down for the 25th so it gives you a little wiggle room if you O on the 11th or so. Good luck to you!
@Weagle: HAHAHA that is every kind of awesome.
@septca: DH wants a little girl badly and I keep telling him we will take whatever we can get!

I thought I'd spend the next two months before we officially start TTC being a cheerleader. Sending lots of sticky baby dust and luck to you all x

@FaithFertility: Yay, I look forward to being your near date IUI + POAS buddy. I think I remember you've done IUI before? This will be my first, and I'm not looking forward to the meds, since I hear the side effects are worse than Clomid.

@MrsMccarthy: ((shudder))
The CGC was accurate for us with #1. If I get KU this month, it says boy. Hopefully DH will get lucky.

@Sprite: Yes, this hopefully will be lucky #3 :))) we have had good luck with getting PG each IUI bit both believe it or not ended quickly in a CP we have been doing some testing as to why and so far all looks good, RE seems to think so far it was just unlucky odds..... I'm hoping that this one will "stick"
What meds will you be taking this time?!?!?!

Now I feel like I am coming down with something and its so hard not to read into it. And it's really ridiculous to do so because our chances are almost nil! When I got pregnant with my son we were on our honeymoon in Thailand and Cambodia. I got sick right around when implantation would have probably been. I got a wicked sinus infection. Then a week before my period was due I got implantation bleeding ( I bought pads because I thought my period was coming) and my nipples were killing me. My son is still nursing and it has been more uncomfortable lately. Probably psychosomatic but I want to take not anyway just in case.

since my BFN I've been telling myself I might skip the boards this month . . . hahaha . . . I didn't even make it to Jan 1.
Estimated O Date: 1/14ish?
POAS/AF date: how about . . . 1/27?
Cycle #: #4 for LO#2, (1 CP and 2 BFN so far)
Chart link: nope, the best part of the RE monitoring for me is not worrying about OPKs and such, we'll only worry about covering trigger night and IUI night
Trying new this cycle: likely same as last cycle - 50mg clomid, trigger, IUI, endometrin post-O
What are your New Year’s resolutions? try to eat better (doing a green smoothie challenge with a friend!), try to limit caffeine, lose the holiday 5 lbs ASAP, oh and get knocked up.
it would be some kind of poetic timing to get my BFP this month - my first ever BFP was 1/31/2011 (one of several that didn't stick, so would be so sweet to get a sticky one 3 years later!)
honeydew / 7295 posts
@bhbee: I'm glad you little K and so many others can't quit the boards. We would miss you all. I hope this is your month!!!

@MrsMccarthy: I would LOVE twins! Either girls or one of each though, I don't think I can handle two boys!
@CatchAFallingStar: Got it!
I hope everyone had a great day today! I'm sitting here at work trying to keep busy so the shift goes by quicker. Ugh.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Mrs.Panda: I know someone with twin boys and they are the most adorable sweet little noodles I have ever seen!!! I would love girls or one of each twins too ideally though because I already have a son and id love at least one girl if there were gonna be 3!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Mrs.Panda: I would love twins! They don't run in my family, so the chances are practically 0%, but a girl can dream!
@MrsMccarthy: it is totally a mind game!

@MrsMccarthy: it was correct for dd too. Good luck with your symptom spotting!! I don't know how anyone with the Internet who is ttc or even ntnp can't symptom spot even a little...
honeydew / 7295 posts
@googly-eyes: thanks fellow sept 2012 momma! the chances are really almost zero because we only had one shot 4 days before i ovulated. sperm can live up to 5 days but the median is 1.5 so i am just kind of having fun. this month we will go at t with gusto. ovulation should be around CD25 again

So after reporting no cramping yesterday...AF has arrived right on queue this morning so that's another 10day LP. BUT no pms whatsoever and it started with a proper flow no spotting. Baring in mind I omly started b6 5 days ago, the only effects so far to report is the lack of pms. At least that makes this time of the month less physically painful. I have high hopes for next month. Even if no BFP. Im hoping for a nice 12 day LP.
