I go in for blood work on Saturday, CD21 blood work.. I'm so freaked out.. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that everything is okay.
@bhbee: Good luck with your CD3 appt. Fingers crossed for you!!!

@littlek: CD21 today. When I was TTC the first time, I very regularly O'ed CD17-19. Last cycle - my first off of BCP - I O'ed on CD29. I guess I need to wrap my head around the fact that things aren't going to be the same postpartum...

@septca: My body is wackadoodle after having LO, so I think anything is possible. Just curious, why did your doc do an HSG? I mentioned it to my doctor and he did not think I needed it since I've gotten pregnant in the past. Is it because you had blocked tube in the past?

@Snowdrop: I guess I don't know if it will make a difference this time? I'm 6DPO now

@littlek: My situation is odd, so my doctor recommended the HSG our first real cycle TTC#2 (this cycle). Took us 13 cycles to conceive DD because I didn't know that both of my tubes were blocked with endometriosis scar tissue. I had a laparscopy and in-surgery HSG that cleared my right tube - got KU the next cycle. This time, my doctor didn't want us to waste any time (fear that my endo would re-grow in my open tube), so I had been on BCP since DD was born and had an HSG immediately when we started to TTC#2 to make sure everything was clear/"clean out the cobwebs." Dye shot straight through the right tube, so all looks good!

Is anyone back at work? I am and there is NOBODY here. I think I will take a long lunch and then pick LO up early from daycare.

@babycanuck: that's round about when I started last month (on CD3 now) all it did that month was get ridof PMS which was very welcome but obviously not the outcome i'm hoping for this month.

@littlek: Same here. It's DEAD. I have a meeting at noon, but other than that I am just killing time.

@littlek: I'm a work at it's very quiet! I'm in the New England though and we have a major snow storm coming in today, so I think everyone just extended their vacations. I think I might just have to leave early myself

Just got back from my doctors appointment. She agreed with me that waiting 12 months is to long with my age and history! yeah! She is giving me another 3 cycles, so end of March, if I am not KU by then. I will go back to see her and she will refer me to a gyno for further testing she said.

@MrsScottish: Are you feeling better after talking to your doctor?
clementine / 838 posts
@littlek: yes! It is at least encouraging to know that I am not in limbo for 9 more months of trying.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@MrsScottish: I felt the same way after talking to my dr. Its nice to have options!

@littlek: exactly! Now I just need AF to come so we can start the next cycle!

@Adira: @littlek: not implantation. I had a heavy HEAVY period this morning. thanks for believing in me though hehehe
@littlek: keeping my fingers and toes crossed that everything is A-OK for you.
@babycanuck: Good Luck Honey! i hope this is your month!
@septca: MY body has been totally bizaRRE since getting KU too. I used to O on CD 16 like clockwork but the past couple of cycles it was CD21 and then this last cycle it was CD18 but then i just got AF on 8DPO so.... I think you mentioned you are still nursing and I am as well and i wonder if that has a hand in it all.
@MrsScottish: I'm glad your doctor is being proactive about things! it could be nothing but it could also be something small and easy to fix. Good luck in the new year!
So the TTC mindgames are officially messing with me. I am hoping this period my cycles will regulate and i will have a chance to POAS sometime at the end of this month. Possibly even the 31st. In the meantime i will be following you ladies and cheering you on!!!!

Morning, Ladies! A new year is officially upon us!
And for me? A new cycle. AF arrived yesterday. No disappointment, because I was afraid that stress was going to completely mess up my cycle- so I was happy that it was just a smidgen early.
@littlek: I have a full day at work today. No one is here and I doubt anyone will be here tomorrow either. Boo. Makes for a boring day.
@MrsMccarthy: So sorry that TTC is messing with your mind. I'm hoping that I can keep my mind in check this cycle. Last cycle I was feeling a bit loopy.
@MrsScottish: I'm glad that you were pleased with the results of your doctor's visit! That's great. However- I'm hoping you see a BFP before your next visit.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@HolisticMama: aww you are so sweet to mention me. I am being a baby though because i wasn't even really trying yet this last cycle and it's really only my first month. I hope you get your BFP this cycle. My AF is today too so maybe we will get to POAS around the same time this month!
persimmon / 1167 posts
@MrsMccarthy: How was your experience trying for LO #1? We are trying for our first now. This is only our second cycle and we are taking it really easy. Our plan is to DTD when we feel like- hoping for about twice a week.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@MrsScottish: yay! I'm glad she's willing to work with you on it. Fingers crossed for a BFP soon!
@septca: It might be the BCP too. Hopefully it regulates itself soon! Are you temping?
@MrsMccarthy: fx for next cycle! I hate those ones where you know you don't have a large chance at a BFP, but your mind makes you hopeful anyways!
I'm waiting for an appt at my dr office. It's my yearly exam, but hopefully he'll give me the all clear to keep trying.
I POAS this morning since TOM was 3 days late and it was a BFN. This is my first cycle since my m/c, so my hormones are probably out of wack. Still disappointed to see that bfn though.
pomegranate / 3105 posts
@Snowdrop: The one thing I do know about B6 is it's great for hormonal imbalances. I have pretty bad anxiety and I used to take it when I felt my anxiety going out of whack or a panic attack,, before I had to go on prescription medication for it. I am going to pick some up regardless today start taking it.
pear / 1846 posts
@Crystal: do you know when you O'd? Sorry about the BFNs they suck hopefully you'll get a fresh start soon!
@babycanuck: that's why I am really happy taking it I feel so calm! Didn't know that was what it was used for till I started feeling so lovely and calm. This might be (is prob definitely TMI) but I used to get a lot of brown blood and this month is has only been red. I think that must be a good thing and it has coincided with starting B6...

@Snowdrop: No clue, or even sure if I ovulated this time.
I miscarried Dec 3rd, but still had a very very low/negligent level of HCG (1) on my last blood test on Dec 17th.
I had been counting the days since I bled, but now I am wondering if I should count them starting from that day? Which means maybe I'm ovulating now?
My heart still hurts over this whole thing, so I don't want to get my hopes up and try now when I have no idea whats going on. I really am just waiting for TOM so we can do the SMEP plan.
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@Crystal: Unfortunately, I think it can vary. I have heard of people ovulating two weeks after their miscarriages, and also much later. I had a low level of HCG (6) on December 23rd, and AF came on the 28th. Needless to say, I don't think I've ovulated at all yet since my miscarriage. Do you chart/temp or use OPKs? I don't, but lots of bees have said that post-MC both things are really helpful to figure out what the heck is going on.
ETA: My numbers/experience were after a painfully slow HCG drop (from October until now), so if there was a "Normal" I definitely don't think I would be it. Fingers crossed for you, lady!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@mfa_lady: I hadn't been charting or using OPKs previously. I didn't think this would be a good cycle to start, but as soon as TOM comes, I plan to start using them.
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@Crystal: Good luck! I am still scared to do either one - I'm too obsessive about things like that and I think it would take over my life. I'm going to give it a few more cycles before going in that direction. Let us know how it goes!!

@HolisticMama: my son was a magical occurrence. I was tested and have low AMH. We planned to try in January of 2012 but didn't use contreception during a day in my window in December 2011 when we were on our honeymoon in Thailand. We were there for 3 weeks, conceived the first week and got BFP using several Thai tests the third week day after Christmas. I was going I get a tattoo in Thailand like my husband had but I was a day late and thought I might test just in case.i have never been so shocked in my life! We were very lucky them but could have been a fluke who knows. I wish you equal luck in your pursuit. TTC can really get under your skin even early on when it feels silly to wig out.
@Crystal: yeah I think NTNP is not for me. I need to feel more on top of things than that.

Sorry to all the ladies who are having super wonky schedules. It's such a bummer when our bodies do not sync up with what our minds want! I am heading into work now and it has been raining ALL DAY. I guess this is Florida's version of a snowstorm!
To everyone who wanted their POAS date changed, I have updated. If I missed someone, let me know!
