As long as you cook it all the way, I think its fine. "Warm" should be at least 165 anyway, which is the temperature of cooked meat.

i think as long as you put it to high it should be fine. my america's test kitchen cookbook says meats should reach a temp of 140 by the 2 hour mark to ensure safety, you didn't happen to check the temp before switching it, did you?
