Hi All -
I was wondering how everyone else handles the daylight savings change and bedtimes? My LO is 9 months old and I was planning on starting his bedtime routine at the same time but I am not sure how he will react.
Any suggestions?

Maybe you can move it back 15 minutes every night for a couple of days at a time so it's not a huge change all at once.
We're planning on taking advantage of daylight savings. That's an hour more to sleep for me!

I do what @artbee suggested. 15 minutes earlier or later depending on what time change it is. Works great every time.
Now my DD is almost 2 so I can just do the whole change in 1 day and it is not a big deal but when she was your LO's age I did the 15 minute increments.

Well, I tried adjusting Livs schedule for the fall Daylight Savings by even 5 minutes a night and she would NOT have it. So she went from a 7pm bath and 7:45 bed to 6pm bath and 6:45 bedtime. So with this time change, we're just going to move back to 7 again.
She is 7 months old now, so she was super young for the last one. Im looking forward to a later bedtime

We didn't do anything special for the fall change and doubt we will do anything for this one. She's usually flexible anyways.

I haven't planned for daylight savings yet.. just going to go with the flow and see how LO does. Hopefully it won't be a huge adjustment.

We just put him to bed at the adjusted time and he was fine. I was surprised actually. It took several nights for him to fall asleep because of the time change but he ended up adjusting pretty quickly. You can try just putting your LO to bed at the adjusted time and see how it goes. If it's a fail, you can try the 15 minute increments thing.

I can't wait!!!! (for me) but its hell with babies. I tired everything and nothin worked. It took a week for things to get back to normal.

My daughter has seemingly adjusted her schedule. She's up an hour earlier and in bed 1-2 hours earlier than usual as well for the past few days... Odd...

The time change didn't affect my son at all. He was awake at 5 am before and after the change, lol.
