I remember AF being nightmarish after DD1s birth. Just came back after DD2 (same timeline, 6 mos later) and it's been...pretty easy? 1 heavy day, 2 light days and some spotting.
What was your experience with your cycle returning? Am I in for it next month?

I think it can definitely be different every time. It was terrible for me after #2 (and even when it returned after a D&c miscarriage) but really do not remember it being bad with #3. So I’d be prepared for it to be heavy next month (mine usually are variable for a few months before settling back to normal) but hopefully it’ll be easier this time!

@Clementine12: all three times returning for me were no big deal, some of the lightest cycles I have ever had and then just regular the next one after that with 1-3 heavy days and light to start and end, which is normal for me.

My cycle after each pregnancy didn't show up until I weaned my kids 100%, so for my first it was at around 11 months pp, and my second was at about 13 months pp --- and both times it wasn't SUPER crazy heavy, but just a normal heavy period.
