We have an Ergo but stopped using it at 14 months. We are going on a trip at 18 months (in another month) and want to conveniently use it again. What age did you stop and why? Do you think there's hope to start back up again after not using it for 2 months? Stories anyone?

We last used our Ergo at 18m (trip to Disney) but haven't used it since mainly because I got pregnant and can't comfortably wear DD anymore. We went strawberry picking this past weekend and would have used it (DD is now 26m) but we forgot it at home. I'd suggest doing some trial runs just to get LO used to it again. The Ergo is great because you can do back/hip carries with it at the older ages. We are planning some light hiking trips in the coming weeks and will definitely be taking it with us so DH can carry DD when she gets tired. I'm all for using it up until the weight limit regardless of age.

We don't plan to stop using our Boba until my son reaches the weight limit of 45 lbs. We'll go a few months between uses sometimes but my son hasn't rebelled being worn as long as we are moving. If we stand still for any length of time he'll push and fuss but that isn't huge.

Have you been doing any back carries in the Ergo? My son much prefers that now, at 18 months.

We occasionally use our Ergo. LO enjoys being carried on DH's back now that she's older.

When M arrived we mostly stopped using it for Lala. She stopped using it for naps about a month ago! Huge deal for us!

We stopped around 7 months.
I try to put him in every now and then, and he gets so upset at me. I tried the hip and back position.. no luck.

Thanks for the responses-I haven't been on in awhile! I tried to put her in again but she wouldn't have it. Oh well, here comes the umbrella stroller.
