When did your LO first go in a pool?

He first went into his private kiddie pool at 12 months, a public pool at 14 months. I definitely would have felt ok about it sooner than that, the opportunity just didn't present itself.

7 months. I wasn't comfortable with the sun and chemicals before six months, but that's just me.

we tried at 6 month but the water was way too cold here and he cried. Tried again at 9 and he loved it.

Like 3-4 months. Pool was indoor and heated, she loved it.

We're taking her to a pool when she's 10 months. Just haven't had the opportunity before; it's definitely been warm enough!

About 5 months old.

6 months old. It was indoor, heated and the pool used 1/2 salt water 1/2 chlorine.

1 1/2 at the local public pool.

Public outdoor pool, 8 months.

I think about 4 months. It was heated and at a private house, though not our house.

6 months at an outdoor hotel pool.

10 weeks, we do baby splash at a local swim school and they have a special indoor infant pool. Our second son will start around the same time.

Im hoping to start a Mommy and Me swim class with DS when he is 6 months. They teach swimming as a survival skill which is super important to me. Im excited!

About 9 months I think. DS was born in August so he didn't get a chance before summer ended.
Not sure when I'll take M. Maybe not this year. I do want to do a class with him though.

5 months. She loved it.

We are going on Monday for the first time to the public pool (indoor and heated). She is almost 7 months!

Nearly 5 months, outdoor heated in FL, for about 15 minutes.
