We are taking a trip early next year and it will be the first time buying plane tickets for a family of four (ouch).

I was having trouble figuring out best seating for our family. The seat configuration on the plane is rows of three. Do I sit with the two kids while my DH sits across the aisle? Or do we divide and conquer? Dividing and conquering sounds ideal, but what if the kids want to move around, and that will be a hassle with other passengers in the row. If we have a whole row for three of us, at least I can own that row.. but they also like to fight and bicker.

What would you do? It's only a 3 hour flight.
