So, I am starting to go over a list of things needed for our cross-country flight this summer. I already learned how to attach the convertible car seat to rolling luggage, which seats we should pick on the plane, how to install a car seat on the plane, and other random tidbits. However, I do have a question about getting through the airport (and I guess, getting around after we reach our destination).

Harrison will be 2 and Char will be nearly 4 when we go to DC (from LA). We will most likely be flying out of LAX and into Dulles or Reagan, which are all decent-sized airports. We are bringing a stroller for H, but not sure if we should buy a sit-and-stand (most likely the Joovy Caboose Ultralight) for both kids.

I have an Ergo, but H is a big guy (he is almost 30 lbs and not 2 yet). I could wear him as another option, but I don't think that either one of us would be very comfortable with that option beyond the (air-conditioned) airports-- we'll be in hot and humid DC/OBX for two weeks. I could also just put H in the stroller and make C walk through the airport, and in DC and the beach... but I have a feeling I might end up carrying her when she gets "tired" (which is usually after 30 mins of walking).

I've found the S&S we would want on Craigslist for under $100. We have a Britax B-Ready, but I do NOT want to travel with that giant beast. We also have a B-Agile and maybe we should just bring two strollers (the Maclaren and the B-Agile?) but that seems ridiculous. Then again, buying yet another stroller sounds ridiculous, as well.

Any bees with 2+ kids traveling experience-- I would love to hear your feedback!
