I am a teacher and DH is a grad student and a coach, so we are both home for the duration of COVID-19-related shut-downs. We were both home with DD (4) for most of last week.

For a few hours on Thursday and most of the day on Friday, I went in to my father's office to help him catch up on work. He owns a real estate law firm and title company, and business is booming with refis.

My parents have done a lot for our family, and I would help my father in any way that I can. That said, I feel a bit uncomfortable going in to his office (even with frequent handwashing, etc.) when I am not strictly required to. Our state has just enacted a prohibition against non-essential work, but loan processing qualifies as essential in the financial sector.

By the end of the week, my job as a remote teacher and SAH parent will mean that I am too busy to help my father. AITA if I go to work in his office for the rest of this week?
