DH says he likes pasta 'al dente' - he cooks it on very low heat (takes foreverrrrr) and serves it sticky! I do not like pasta cooked this way. At all. In fact, it's not 'al dente' :

I cook pasta in boiling water until soft, but still firm, not mushy.
