I'm ordering my foonf w/the 20% off code from albee baby...And it's charging me like $30 in taxes..Why? I changed my ship to address to our FL address and it didnt charge for FL. Why is it charging for SC?
I read they only have stores in NJ and NY!

I think you get charged whatever state tax you are shipping to!

Usually sales tax is only if the retailer has a physical presence in that state although some states are working to try and get Internet purchases taxed.
Is it the SC use tax?

@wheres_c: A lot of states just recently passed laws that you have to be charged taxed for internet purchases...California being one of them
No more escaping the RIDICULOUS sales tax by ordering on Amazon.ETA - so yeah, it's where ever you ship to now.

@PrincessBaby: Do you have someone in FL who could ship to you in SC? For now MA doesn't have that, but I think they just passed or are about to pass a law so MA will get the tax money. Luckily I bought my UB Vista before that!
