Has anyone else been following his story? I just can't imagine living under a government that insisted that it's their right to end a child's life against his parents' wishes. And to starve him to death, at that. It's unbelievable.

This is a sad but common issue faced by guardians and judges worldwide. It happens in the US all the time that doctors wish to end treatment because it is in the patient’s best interest and the family says no and it goes to a Judge. Or two parents disagree as to treatment and one requests a court order for treatment. No Judge would want to decide this case, I am sure, and the judge that did appears to have listened to all the facts and determined that there is no real hope for treatment and the child is suffering.
