Does this look like an allergic reaction? Sometime LO gets these little red bumps with a whitish middle. He hasn't eaten anything weird. Tonight his face looked like this after crawling on the carpet. I'm wondering if he's allergic to our dog ??

Does he have eczema? My baby does and her face is SUPER red and blotchy upon wake up. I think it's from all the contact with her crib mattress for 11-12 hours. It looks a lot better a few hours later.

I'd probably have an allergy test done sometime in the future just to make sure.

@chopsuey119: yes ! I have horrible allergies so wouldn't be surprised at all. I still take allergy shots !

@coacheswife123: we thought B might be allergic to our friends dog and we mentioned it to our pediatrician.
She told me our insurance would cover allergy testing if we wanted so we said why not?I'm glad we did because we found out he had an egg allergy and he was prescribed an epi pen.
Why not ask the pedi about allergy testing at your next visit?
