I'm allergic to tree nuts. I carry an epipen for it.

I am also mildly allergic to raw bananas... but I can still eat banana bread/muffins without any reaction.

I wouldn't really call it an allergy, but I do have sensitive skin that reacts poorly to creams/shampoos/whatever with scents and dyes in them so I avoid that as much as I can.

Also I have seasonal allergies. Some years are worse than others.

DH gets seasonal allergies but that's it!

I'm allergic to cedar. Gives me hives. The pollen is horrible in the spring and I can't touch cedar wood. I once had a pet and bought cedar shavings for the bedding and I was sooo uncomfortable just being around it.

DS has seasonal allergies but nothing more than that. DH is allergic to something outside. When he pets our lab after he's been outside dh gets hives.

My husband has bad seasonal allergies.

I suspect I have some mild seasonal allergies but it seems to vary year to year. I also am allergic to mango (blisters in my mouth and upset stomach). I think I'm also either allergic or just have an intolerance for nutrisweet (upset stomach and ridiculous diuretic effect moreso than anything I've ever had).

I am allergic to cats, dust mites and most antibiotics (penicillin and all sulfa drugs). I also have bad seasonal allergies – I’m especially allergic to grass and maple trees. When I handle lobster, it makes my hands red and itchy (same reaction, but less severe with butternut squash), but I can eat both without any problems (thank goodness!).

So far we don’t think LO has any allergies. She had an allergic reaction after eating pears, but she’s had pears since and has been fine.

I just have seasonal allergies but my husband has a slew of allergies. The worst by far is peanuts, but he is allergic to all legumes, cats, dogs and a few other odd things.

@lovehoneybee: Oh, I've heard of people allergic to strawberries! So strange, and unfortunate. But they don't affect his throat? can he eat them?

I am allergic to penicillin and the icillin family drugs. Also, since pregnancy, I have been allergic to apples and pears. (contact!?). I can't eat them because they make my lips tingle and feel swelly and hurt. I've tried since being pregnant, and it still happens! boo!

@T-Mom: I have tried cutting it off and it still happened, I may try again. I did dip a peel-less apple in Carmel and it was fine. Maybe I can only eat apples with Carmel... I'm ok with that.

Late in life I have developed contact allergies to most lipsticks and mascara I get terrible skin irritations and eczema outbreaks. It's sometimes okay if I wear it once or twice but anymore than that and my skin starts to reject it and freak out
