So I've been maintaining a baby registry on Amazon for a while now (to track the recommendations bees make, etc). It's all private currently because I set it up before we were really telling anyone we were pregnant.

I've noticed as I go in to manage it that often the prices change dramatically as sellers swap around. I may have originally added a $20 item that was to be direct from Amazon.com (and not through a third party) and all of a sudden it becomes a $30 item with xyz company. And it will not revert back to the Amazon.com listing seller -- I have to go in and rediscover a different posting to switch it back to Amazon.

This is really frustrating to me, as I don't want someone buying something for more than the going rate just because that's what my registry shows that day. I also don't like the thought of some items (Sofie) being switched to a third party seller without my knowledge or consent.

Is this just the nature of the beast, or is there a setting somewhere where I can prevent it from changing sellers? Has anyone else experienced this and been annoyed?
