I didn't know, but I recently switched to Prime, so it doesn't affect me either.

@sorrycharlie: before i had prime I would just stack my buys. Like rather than buying something immediately when I wanted it if it was $10, I'd put it in my cart then walk away for a week until I needed something that was $20 and then buy them together for the free shipping! With holiday shopping you can probably condense down to just a couple orders over $35 I'd think?

@littlebug: as a Prime member, you can designate up to five family members to get Prime shipping benefits its under your Prime account settings, you send them an invite and they accept it.

Doesn't affect me because I have prime, but I log onto Amazon every day to check for the free app and do not recall ever seeing anything about this on their home page. Also, just another gripe but I HATE the add-on items. I understand why they have them but it is still annoying when you want something but can only order it if you already have an order over $25.

@purrpletulips: Agreed. The add-ons are super annoying, but I understand why they do it. I usually just order diapers/wipes to get me to $25+ because I know we'll use those eventually.
