Don't you get the same benefits if you purchase over $25 dollars though and you don't have to pay the $79 annual fee?! You can do S&S without being a prime member. That's where I'm confused how prime/mom actually saves you.

I love Amazon Prime! We use it for so many different things. Toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, Luzianne Tea. I really use it a lot during Christmas for the free shipping and it gets here so quick. It honestly saves me money during the year over having to put gas in the car to run to 10 different places to get the best deals.

@skibobrown: Prime gets you Free Two Day Shipping and allows you to S&S with 15% discount. Amazon Mom gets you an additional 5% but does not apply to diaper and wipes. However, if you have 5 or more items in one S&S shipment then you do get 20% off diapers and wipes.
And Amazon Mom is free so why not sign up to get the additional 5%?
@anbanan15: The $25 gets you Free Super Saver Shipping which is 3-5 business days vs Prime's 2 day. Although I've found the Super Saver to be right around 3 days! The Mom gets you an additional 5% and you have to have Prime to get Amazon Mom. I know a lot of people use the Prime online streaming as well. So for those that have no cable and pay for Hulu or Netflix they might be able to eliminate those monthly bills for Prime?
ETA: and the Free Prime is on anything sold by Amazon. How often are you buying more to get up to $25 to get free Super Saver?

I just placed my first amazon prime order, thanks to @regberadaisy:
Do far I just did subscribe and save for diaper genie refills, since we'll have 2 bums worth of diapers. Never thought to look into paper goods. Ill probably add DS snacks and #2's snacks once she's eating them. We don't do diapers or wipes because we use target brand

I have been using diapers.com as it's free shipping over $50 and they also sell paper products but maybe I should think about changing if Amazon is cheaper - does anyone know if it works out less expensive than diapers.com?

@Aimed: S&S is usually cheaper than diapers.com unless you have a promo code.
