I took Ambien before I had Chloe.
It wasn't pretty. Apparently I sleep walked and cooked, which is clearly dangerous. I had a friend take it and sleep drive.
I have no recollection of this occurring. If my husband wasn't home to tell me (and stop me from creating disasters!) I'd never know.
Lunesta worked & didn't create any ill side effects.

I took unisom all last pregnancy and have been taking it occasionally this pregnancy. I get horrible pregnancy insomnia can't sleep no matter how tired I am. I had ambien once while pregnant (when I was in hospital for preterm labor) and felt like I was hallucinating. Much preferred unisom.
