I used this pump for LO 1 and I don't remember the settings that I used.
Did you pump on the highest suction and speed before turning it down?

Great question!! I didn't pump a ton with my first since he wouldn't take bottles but I a hoping to change that with this baby so I'm following along. Hopefully someone has some insight.

Yes. High suction and speed then once I had my letdown I'd turn the speed way down.

I use maximum speed and low to middle suction (whatever feels comfortable). After I get letdown I turn the speed way down and turn the suction way up to the maximum that feels comfortable.

Mine is always on maximum speed, and then medium to high suction. I usually keep it on medium suction the whole time. By having it on maximum speed, I have a letdown and finish pumping in under ten minutes.
