I just came across this article on CNN this morning about ways to help those in Newtown if you can't give financially. I thought one was really cool. They are wanting the kids to be greeted by a winter wonderland when they return to school in January so they're asking people to make snowflakes and send them to Connecticut. I thought it was an awesome way to help and to get kids involved, especially if they've been wanting to help (DH has a cousin whose son is always looking for ways to help people). I think it'd also be a good way to just spend time with the kids.
