My LO is basically sleep trained thanks to extinction method/CIO about 3 weeks ago. She will still fuss for sometimes up to 1 minute when I put her in her crib but then she's out, and she sleeps 12 hours. On most nights, something wakes her up (street traffic) and I'll hear her fuss for a few seconds here and there and she puts herself back to sleep. I have always told myself that if she wakes in the night and cries for longer than 15 mins, I would go in. She has never even come close to that range, so I haven't had to. Therefore, I never got a real game-plan together for what I would do when I get in there.

The past 2 nights, she has had wakings where she cried for 15 mins. Both times, the only thing I could surmise what that she was hungry (the first night it had been about 6.5 hours since she ate, and the second time it had been about 9.5). Both nights, I picked her up and she stopped crying and immediately started grabbing at my boobs, so I didn't really know what to do other than nurse her. Both times, she ate pretty heartily.

I know that if my child is hungry, that I should feed her, but I don't want to mess up the blood/sweat/tears that I put into sleep training! And I don't want her to expect a night feeding. So I need advice on if I'm doing the right thing!

Can you help me get a game plan?

FWIW- She is 8 months, and I should mention that she has had a lot of new stuff going on lately- she's been army crawling but in the past few days has been working HARD to crawl on all fours, she's also pulling up, and just learned to sit herself up from laying down in the past few days - so lots of physical milestones AND we just hit Leap 6 for Wonder Weeks, and I'm also wondering if any of these shenanigans can be responsible for her waking up and not going back to sleep.
