stress will affect your supply. My supply tanked but I found when I drank A LOT of water, and drank mother's milk tea it really helped. Also trying to pump often (i know its not always possible when you're working)

Dont over think it. people say looking at your baby's picture, listening to cries and coos and smelling a onesie helps too

I agree, give yourself some time to get in a routine. What helped me keep up my supply was to just pump ALL the time when I first started. Literally, on the way to work in the car, 3 times at work, and then on the drive home from work.

@JoJoGirl: I just rinsed between pumpings and stored in the fridge in a zip lock bag. I just washed at night (well actually my dear DH did).

Even if you just pump for 10 minutes and don't get much, remember you are stimulating demand which in the long run will help!

I would give it some time too. Do you eat oatmeal for breakfast? I started drinking Mother's Milk and taking Fenugreek and it helped my supply.

I don't wash or rinse my parts during the day. Just put in a ziploc bag and goes in the fridge with the milk. I also have a freezer pack in the bag, for the drive home.

@JoJoGirl: I do the bag trick for 4 pumps! I have no idea if its sanitary though, I guess I just assumed..

I've had low supply too since starting work last week, so just here to commiserate : ( I hope it gets better for you!

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but my pumping output has been a problem since I got back to work four months ago. On a good day, I get 10. I'll more likely get 6-8. We've started supplementing LOs bottles and it's been fine. I was super resistant at first and started getting up in the middle of the night to pump, but have since realized that a happy, sleeping mama is worth more than the 2 oz I was getting.
