DD continues to hate tummy time and now can sit for a few minutes unassisted on her own. She is 5 months old. She does not roll and has never showed any interest. She also really loves to stand assisted.
Have your kids skipped milestones?

DD is also 5 months old and can sit unassisted for up to 10 minutes. She's been rolling from back to belly for awhile but can't go from belly to back! I thought that was supposed to be the easier one too. Silly babies luckily I don't think rolling is one of those "must" milestones.

My LO is 7 months and he's the exact same way. He loves sitting and standing but will only roll in his crib. If I put him on his back for floor time he will just lie there like a dead fish! And then he screams during tummy time. :s

My 6 month old still hasn't rolled. I was concerned at first, but now I think she's just lazy.

My 5 month old rolls from belly to back only, but not from back to belly. she loves tummy time though, can sit for a short while and longs "standing" too

LO would roll occasionally but really was not interested in it ever.

DS always, always hated tummy time, he would occasionally roll but not much. Once he discovered he could push up and move forward he was crawling like a champ and now at 10 months he's walking holding on to things.

I just wanted to add that some babies do skip milestones. I know a baby that never crawled but went straight to walking. Another baby would only crawl sideways or backwards. So baby is different

ds is only 3 months but hates tummy time and i really dont think he will want to roll. hes much more interested in standing (the boy loves to stand supported) and sitting like a big boy.

DD STILL dislikes tummy time but I actually think her despise for it helped her roll earlier b/c as soon as I put her on her tummy she'd freak and push her self over! lol. She occasionally rolls but isn't really all that into it. You can work with your lo to roll!
On a sidenote: I remember having a dream that DD walked without crawling and I FREAKED and was yelling at her to stop. I figure this is because I've heard about vital brain circuits that were created through these achievements and them having negative consequence later in life. DH and I got a pretty good laugh out of it, but I'm still weird about DD reaching all of her milestones in "order". lol

My daughter will be 6 months tomorrow and still doesnt roll. She has done it a couple times but then never again. She is getting better at tummy time. However she has also been sitting up on her own for long periods of time since about 5 months!
