Pacifier to sleep. I love it now but I'm wondering when the heck to break this habit and how the heck he is going to sleep without it when we do wean!
I don't mind nursing to sleep because he can also go to sleep with a bottle, paci, being rocked etc ... Basically other people can and have put him to sleep. I just want him to fall and stay asleep more independently. Actually I just want him to STTN then I won't care about how he falls asleep! I'm majorly sleep deprived as i write this so not sure if I'm making sense

Even though nursing to sleep and co bedding have made some things harder I wouldn't trade them or the world either!!!!

I haven't found any habits that hard to break. The worst was swaddle-weaning, but that made her sleep so much better when she was tiny that I think it was worth it.

@Foodnerd81: nursing to sleep is the only one I can think of. Often it's the only thing that will comfort her, so I'm happy to do it. I figure when we sleep train we can look at all this again, but at 2wks old it's all about survival for us!

@runsyellowlites: I always find it really ironic that self-soothing is often made out to be the magic bullet for all sleep problems yet it doesn't work that way for us!

Nursing to sleep/nursing to drowsy...We will be starting to wean soon in an attempt to bring AF back (my LO has been STTN for a while now and no sign of AF still)...I feel like I have no idea how we're ever going to get LO off the boob bc it's such an integral part of her life! Especially for going to sleep....She won't take a bottle from me or from anyone else if I'm around.

@PrincessBaby: isn't it funny how when we introduce the bottle, we are so afraid they will then refuse the breast. And then suddenly we are worried that they are refusing the bottle because they want the breast. Babies...

I don't think we have started any bad habits. I am pretty good at waiting out phases she goes through/she would reject any potential bad habits I threw at her.
@PrincessBaby: I'm totally getting anxiety over weaning. The breast is so convenient, but at the same time I haven't gotten AF back either and I want to be able to start TTC in 2014. I know I still have months to go, but it is starting to stress me out. I keep thinking this is finally AF, but then nothing shows!

@rawrasaur: yeah I wish the swing worked to make her nap and things like that. She just looks at me like, that's for suckers, mom. Rock me!
