Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Ikea couches. We're moving into our new house in the next few weeks and need a new couch...however we reeeeally don't want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on something that will just end up getting trashed by kiddies in the (hopefully) very near future so we're thinking of going with an Ikea couch for the time being (and then going with something fancy-pants for our basement entertainment area).

We're specifically looking at the Karlstad corner sofa: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S69840434/#/S39875665 which I know Young House Love seemed to like...but they like everything so I want to make sure it'd actually be a practical-ish idea. Anyway, just looking to see if anyone knows if they hold up ok over time, if the quality is decent, etc. (and obviously I get that it's Ikea, you get what you pay for).
