We're going to ride the Polar Express! Every year between Thanksgiving and Christmas the train museum near us transforms their historic train cars into the Polar express! They serve hot cocoa, Santa comes on, and they make up a North Pole at one end of the tracks! I'm so excited! (now that I have LO I can justify doing kid stuff like this haha)

We're going with my parents to cut down and decorate their Christmas tree on Saturday. On Sunday night all of DH's siblings and kids are going to MIL's to decorate cookies!

SO other is going to humor me by having a slumber party in the living room while we're snowed in. i bought stuff to make ginger bread houses (i cheated though & bought a kit that makes a few smaller houses), and i have christmas movies for us to watch & we can start wrapping presents. i've got a stack of games ready to play and we can bake cookies. i'm ridiculously excited!

DH's work Christmas party is tonight at a glass blowing studio and gallery tonight so it should be pretty fancy. Mommy needs a night out, even if I am the DD. I am just hoping for a nice dinner!

Yes! We're going over to BIL's for dinner and holiday drinks and then going to a light display in his neighborhood. He said some houses had live bands on their lawns last year.

We have a Christmas party to go to tonight and then tomorrow DH and I are going to finish up our Christmas shopping and spend some quality time together. We may wrap up the weekend with some hot cocoa and driving around to look at Christmas lights...with LO along for the ride, of course.

Polar Express sounds fun! We have something very similar here, but tickets are expensive, so we'll likely spring for it when DD is old enough to understand.
Our weekend is pretty Christmasy. We're going to a "Christmas at the Ranch" event, tomorrow. Wreath making, caroling, and Clydesdale horse drawn carriage rides. Hopefully getting DD's picture with Santa on Sunday before a live nativity event my parents wanted to check out.

Yes. We are doing a secret Santa brunch with MIL and DD's great grandparents since we will be on the east coast with my family for Christmas/new years. I'm excited. I love DH's mom and so does DD so we always have a good time

We're going to a local town that's known for it's Bavarian theme year-round, but for Christmas they go all-out and put up lights. We've never been during Christmas so DH and I are excited to squeeze in a little day date.

We have been dying to go to disneyland to see it all decorated, but family events keep taking up our free time.
This weekend we are celebrating MILs bday, but we are going to a restaurant that goes all out decorations-wise for Christmas, then doing a tree trimming with my family on Sunday,
