We are moving to Fort Worth, TX in two weeks. We have a home already, but I need to find a preschool, doctor, pediatrician, etc etc etc
Any bees out there from Fort Worth? Can anyone point me in any directions?

Are you moving to Fort Worth itself, or somewhere in the Metroplex? My mom is a preschool teacher in the DFW area! But it could be fairly far away from you, depending on where you're settling exactly.

I live in the area, but not terribly close to Haslet (about 20 miles away). I can tell you who we use for the various kiddo things, but you are likely to find just as good of options closer to your home.
Will you be working? What direction would you commute to work?

I'm not working right now (I will be applying to Northwest ISD and Keller ISD for the fall). My husband will work downtown. I get the feeling we will have to travel into Keller for just about everything.

@MamaBehr: The preschool my mom works at is in Lewisville, which I'm assuming would be a little far to go (30 min or so). My parents have really loved living in the DFW area for the last ten years. I hope someone else has some advice on some of the other things for you!

Yes to Keller. We use Primrose for our daycare/pre-school. There are several locations in your direction (I think there are two in Keller). We are closer to the airport, I don't think it would make sense for you to drive that far for a pediatrician - I am sure there are some great ones nearby.
We prefer to use a Cook's pediatrician as they are all "connected" to the children's hospital, they also have a couple of urgent cares (Southlake and Hurst are the closest to us). The pediatric dentist we use is in North Richland Hills.
