One of my neighbors repainted their home and I think maybe replaced their garage doors. Whatever they did their house looks fresh and new. Now, they have a bright red front door.
While my dad is in town I think we will tackle painting my front doors! Share your painted doors & any tips you have.

I'm in a mad cleaning frenzy. I have Salvation Army coming to pick up this weekend. We are thinking of getting a new couch (in laws coming in for Christmas). I am thinking about putting paintings up on the walls. I am thinking about selling our indoor kiddie slide. I'm not going to get it all done!

I'd love to tackle ripping out the carpet in the stairways and re-painting the treads OR finish painting our dining room. Or re-painting the front porch if the weather is nice. I get overwhelmed when there are too many projects to do and cannot decide which to do!

We've been hanging up photos, cleaning out closets, and storing toys he doesn't use anymore. It feels so good to organize and purge!

I have been an organizing fool lately and cleaning out stuff to donate to Salvation Army/Homeless Shelter. So I'm hoping to continue on taht track and get our basement exactly how I want it (new bar & play area for LO.)
As for painting front door, I just did mine a Navy Blue color and I LOVE it, before it was kind of a sea foam green color from the previous owners, and this is more of a statement! I don't have a pic to share, but I love how strong it is and how my door signs stand out next to it. (we have a yellow-ish cream color siding)

Well it's not the holiday here, but this past weekend we fixed baseboards that the puppy chewed (!!!!) and this coming weekend FIL is coming to help DH finish the electrical work in the basement so we can get it dry-walled ASAP! I plan to do some organizing in the future baby room as well.

We went through all of our clothes this weekend and made a big pile to give to Goodwill. I also installed a bar in our bedroom for hang-drying clothes. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I think it will make a huge difference!

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I painted our front door orange a few months ago. It was white and needed a little punch. By far, it has been my favorite DIY project. :0)

We'll be painting as well! DH needs to finish up giving the outside trim a good coat. He started two months ago 
I'd really like to repaint our door as well, but it depends on how much time we have!

We're painting all the trim in our new house - when we bought it, everything was PEACH. It's awful. I'm slowly but surely making it completely white!

@AmandaB8: man, peach??? that would be hard to live with for long ours is cream and I keep trying to convince myself to tackle the project - I really want crisp white! The cream just looks dirty
