Right now I'm thinking either 20% off coupon at Buy Buy Baby or Amazon registry completion discount. The 20% off coupons at Babies R Us don't apply to Motorola... even their 20% off any monitor coupons specifically say "not valid for Motorola" 
Anyone else run into any deals for the monitor??

@regberadaisy: yeah, I'm seriously debating getting the smaller screened one because it's so much cheaper. But the larger screened one does pan, tilt, and zoom.... !!!

oooh we trekked to buy buy baby today in braintree and i'm in love. i am super, super jealous of people within quick driving distance! DH played with the one that you're referring to and is absolutely sold on it. if we don't get it from BRU from our registry i'll totally get it there with a coupon! the thing is so freakin' cool!

@sorrycharlie: YAY!!! Isn't that place amazing?!? So much better than Babies R Us. We're about 15-20 mins away depending on traffic. If you sign up on their website for emails they send you a 20% off coupon immediately, and it doesn't exclude Motorola!! They also send out coupons via snail mail all the time. But I haven't seen one in a while. So we're totally going to get it from BBB with the coupon!

@sorrycharlie: p.s. for trips out there you can spend the day... go to BBB and then go over to the South Shore Plaza! Or go to Hingham to the Derby Street Shoppes... haven't been there myself yet but I heard it's great and they have a LOT of baby type stores. Make a day of it... and maybe we can MEET UP!!!!

@mrs. wagon: @sorrycharlie: I'm so with you on Buy Buy Baby! It's a much better store. We didn't register there because it wasn't convenient for our guests. With all that's going on with me DH is all about getting the monitor - the last big thing we need. He wants to get the one with two cameras now so we can "always have a 360 degree view of her and her face". I laughed and think it's kind of cute. I think a video monitor in our small home is pushing it enough, let alone having two monitors. haha.

@mrs.wagon: I'm totally looking at buying this monitor. I found that the 10% amazon registration discount is cheaper than the BBB one.
So the BBB one ends up being $218 for me ($249 + tax - 20%). And Amazon one is $210 ($233 - 10%).
It's practically the same price but the Amazon price is slightly cheaper.
How does your calculation come out? I just want to make sure I'm calculating correctly here!

@banana: oh right. Haha. Sorry. Yes, my plan right now is to get both the monitor and extra camera at BBB with 20% off coupons. But if they won't let me use 2 20% off coupons, I'm going to get the extra camera off of amazon with the registry completion. I'd rather buy in person for a few extra bucks just in case something goes wrong... I'd rather go back to the store than to the post office! But we'll see... the amazon one's price goes up and down so if it goes down and we have money to buy it, I'll jump on it! (and let you know!)
