I'm figuring out my registry and wonder if I can ditch the swing and the bouncy chair and replace them with JUST the Mamaroo?
Thanks in advance!

I totally wish I had gotten the Mamaroo! LO loved her swing though. I would ditch the two and just register for the Mamaroooo

That looks nice! I think the only reason I like having both the swing and bouncy is that I can keep them in different places so I don't have to move things around when I'm in different rooms and want to put LO down.

We HAD a mamaroo. LO didn't really love it and hardly used it. We sold it on Craigslist when she was about 5.5 months old. It ended up being a really expensive iPod player for us. Between 2 and 5.5 months I could count on one hand the number of times it was used.
I had a c-section and we have a two story home with all bedrooms up. The mamaroo was her napping place when I couldn't do the stairs in the early days.
We never bought a regular swing. We did end up getting her a bouncer at nearly 3 months and it was money well spent.

as much as i hate the space that the swing takes up, it does help to have two places i can put olive to switch it up. that way if your lo hates the swing, she might love the bouncer and vice versa. also i move the bouncer around everywhere - shower, living room, etc. it helps to have a safe place to put her down, and you can't really move the swing. if you have the space.... i would get both.

I agree that having a bouncer is super convenient to move around so your LO has somewhere to sit or else where do you put the baby? Not unless you plan on baby wearing all the time. I didn't baby wear all that much and had her in the seat until 4 months when she got tired of it and was climbing out.

btw we have two bouncers (love the babybjorn one) and a swing and use all three of them all the time. one bouncer on each floor, and the swing is in her room. she's 5.5 months old.

Very helpful, ladies. Thanks! I might just stick with all three on the registry and see where we net out

have a mamaroo and a bouncy seat, used both quite a bit, the mamaroo replaced our swing, it is great on space saving. I wish it moved a little faster, I think LO would have liked it more if it had.
