DH and I usually make green beer at home and eat homemade corned beef and cabbage. Doing anything festive with your SO or LOs?

I'm lucky if I remember to wear green. Probably next year when LO is older we'll make some green food to celebrate. I've also heard of people putting green food coloring in the toilet and telling their LO's a leprechaun peed in the toilet.

We'll be at the airport bright and early to pick up my parents so they can meet their new grandson. They're flying overnight from Texas to England

It's funny you call it that, we either call it Paddy's day or the full st. Patrick's day. It's DH's last opportunity to have a drink until after babies are born, so I'll be playing designated driver!

I'll probably make Irish soda bread and see if I can't find a cut of meat for the corned beef...I have no idea if a butcher will be able to get it for me, I should start asking now!
My son's too little for dyeing stuff green, I don't think he'd notice if his oatmeal was green!

We got out every year from my Grandma's birthday. Her name is Patricia and she was born on St. Patty's Day, so it's always been a big deal. the kids drink green Sprite & the older ones drink green beer. Looks like I'll be back in the Sprite club this year
Always serve corned beef & cabbage at the family resturant (and I usually get a reuben!) YUM!
I'm excited this is when we are planning to announce to the family we are pregnant!

Oooooh. The Wheel Mobile is going to be in downtown Raleigh after the St Patrick's Day parade this year. I want to go try out!! My friend Christy and I signed up to try out but never got picked to do the fake show in downtown. BUT! She actually got a call back later and ended up getting on the show!!!! (Wheel of Fortune)
So....Wheel Mobile for St Patrick's Day??? Maybe!!

We're actually going to take the evening off and not work at the new house. We're making Guinness corned beef and cabbage, we make our own corned beef as well. Our friends are coming over and we're chilling and watching a movie. A much deserved night off!
It's always Guinness and other Irish beer at our house! My husband's half Irish so we always celebrate!
IF I have time or feel up to it I might make Guinness cake. Have a great authentic recipe I got from a Irish friend I've been meaning to try!

St Patty's day is celebrated here a couple weeks before, it's bizarre. I'm sure some people will still celebrate this weekend but I have to teach and husband has a conference in town.

Every year St. Patrick sneaks into the house and leaves my husband a breakfast Guiness (much like Santa). Unfortunately he has to work this year, he can't partake until dinner.
Cam and I have swim lessons in the morning, and in the evening we are getting together with friends and will have 4 babies born within 18 weeks of each other hanging out!

We are going to go to an Irish bar called Molly's near our home. We've never been before... or celebrated Saint Patrick's Day. I'm looking forward to it.
