My husband has a long weekend this weekend, which is rare! We asked our nanny to sit for R for half a day on Saturday so we can take our older son skiing. So excited! He's gotten really into it this year. Other than that, no real plans. House stuff and maybe swimming at the Y.

It's not a long weekend here but I am heading to visit my sister (my best friend in the entire world!) tomorrow and I can't wait!! I'm not so excited for the cross country flight with a 4 month old but it will be fun once DD and i get there

I have my writing group Saturday night which means a night out for drinking and having fun discussing writing. DH has 2 concerts Sat. & Sun. so LO gets to spend some time with her auntie. We are staying in most of the day time because it's going to be super cold but we have lots of laundry and packing and last-minute shopping since we're going to Orlando on Monday. I can not wait to be away from this dreadful cold for a week.

@wrkbrk: yep! we meet once a month. lots of vino, cackling, and helping each other with the novels we are all working on. best part is that we all live in the same neighborhood so I can walk (stumble) home

@wrkbrk: we all took a workshop in my neighborhood and used to walk home--we decided it was too expensive to keep continuing the classes and set up our own little group. it's awesome.

We're going to the symphony on Saturday, Mass and birthday brunch with my parents on Sunday, then rest/chores and family time Monday. I'm looking forward to it so much!

It's going to be FRIGID here, so I don't know! We might have a play date tomorrow, then we have church Sunday as usual, and I'm stumped on what to do on Monday... Afraid that all the play gyms will be crowded!

What long weekend?
We have 3 birthday parties. The one on Sunday is family so will take up all the afternoon. We need to find some time to clean up the basement since the AC guy is coming to start the installation down there.

No long weekend for me either, but DH does!
Girls night tonight for dinner and 'How to be single', excited.
Tomorrow - DIY V-day photoshoot with a friend, and then basketball tournament for DSD.
Sunday - flea market and hopefully a night in on the couch watching Walking Dead or The Bachelor Vday Special.

Our weekend is a bust since it's so cold I really can't go out (haven't been handling the cold well this pregnancy). So kids and I are climbing up the walls! DH has to work.
