We are looking to go on a babymoon at end of this month. Yes, last minute thing. Any recommendations for hotels, restaurants, etc?

@mrsjyw: thx!
@Ctran: nice! Was there anything to do besides water sports and beach? I'm pregnant, so can't do any water sports.

@tequiero21: we stayed at the resort the whole time and besides lounging by pool and going to beach, not much to do. Maybe do a spa treatment of get a massage?

You will have the most amazing time... Turks and Caicos has the nicest beaches and water of any place I've ever been. We honeymooned at the former The Veranda Resort, and it was incredible. However, shortly after our honeymoon, it was bought out by Beaches, which is next door, so the price has skyrocketed since then. It was an all-inclusive, which we found to be worth the extra cost... we spoke with many other couples who had rented apartments and were paying for food and alcohol, and they were paying nearly $300 a day to eat.
We did a snorkeling excursion which I would not recommend... they take you very far out to the reef, where the water is choppy, and most people had trouble even swimming. Turks and Caicos actually has a free snorkeling spot right near The Veranda and Beaches, called Bight Reef. It is free and accessible to the public, no matter what hotel you are staying at, but bring your own snorkeling gear (most hotels allow you to sign it out for free).
Another place to visit if you can is Iguana Island... truly the most beautiful, secluded piece of paradise I've ever been to.

We have been twice. We stayed at Seven Stars the first time. It was nice but I didn't think it was worth the cost. the second time we stayed at Beaches. It was amazing but would never stay there if I didn't have kids. I have also heard good things about the gansevoort. On our second stay, our flights home were cancelled so we had to stay at the resort next door to Beaches called the Alexandria. it was fine and much less expensive but our room smelled like old man cologne and I am pretty sure two hookers knocked on our door at 10pm (obviously they had the wrong room!)

We went to T&C for our honeymoon! We didn't stay at a resort on the main island though...we rented a private villa (on a private beach) on North Caicos. My husband brought his kitesurfing gear and I just read books on the beach. It was amazing!
