"For Once In My Life" was covered in last week's Law & Order SVU and it caught my ear... so I googled it and came across this uptempo Stevie Wonder version:

And then there's the classic You Are The Sunshine Of My Life... which I always loved, but love way more now that I can sing it to the kids!

There is a long-running party I used to go to in NYC called the "Wonder-full" party that was an all-night party of Stevie Wonder music. My friends and I would dance all night and be so sore the next day. One year his daughter Aisha ("Isn't She Lovely" was written for her) called to thank everyone for celebrating her dad.

@mrbee: What about Happy Birthday? So funny, my friends and I call it the "Black Happy Birthday Song" because most of the Black Americans I know sing both Happy Birthday songs at parties, the regular one and the Stevie Wonder song.
