This is on the list of where we might go for my bday dinner but I've never been and I'm just a little weary of a chain that has all you can eat but claims to be extremely fancy...anyone been? Thoughts??

@babyjmama: YES! We had DD's 1st birthday there! And we went there for lunch on my birthday.
It's good.

Yes. It is delicious!!! We're not big on all you can eat places but this was a really neat experience.

@chopsuey119: so is it a good place for an 'adult' dinner? We want to have a fun atmosphere but kicka$$ food too
@jhd: good to know! Thanks!
@littlek: lots of food...but was it good quality in your opinion?

I know your question was directed to someone else but I thought it was very good quality food! Salad bar had everything you could think of & very fresh. And the meats are so good!

@babyjmama: Oh it's totally for adults. You'll like it!
DD didn't have many friends back in the day
so we threw an adult party for her.
Wanted to treat our friends and fam to a nice meal so it was a nice venue choice for us.

@jhd: it didn't have to be directed at anyone specifically, just fishing for details hahaha...I hate to sound snobby, just want a really freaking awesome meal for my last bday of my 20's!

Dude, it's totally adult-like and there's a shit-ton of meat. It's fabulous.

DH and I went for our anniversary this year per my parents recommendation - it's my dad's favorite restaurant.
It's not set up like an all you can eat restaurant. The salad bar is, and it's DELICIOUS. But then you get a little card that is green on one side and red on the other. When you're ready for them to serve the meat, you flip the card to green and swarms of chefs with meat come and serve you. It's really delicious but you have to REALLY love meat to truly appreciate it.
I like meat, but it was so hyped up by my family that it didn't live up to the hype because I'm not a carnivore like my dad and BIL haha.
It was great though and definitely worth a try.

YUM-O.
We actually went to the one in KS!! I forgot what street....maybe in something like country club plazas or something?
Starve yourself enforce going unless you want to explode.

@ms.janedoe: @autumnlove: @Mrs. Pen: I married a boy raised on a cattle ranch in kansas...we LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE meat and are totally snobby about it, hence all the questions to make sure the meat is good quality, he's hard to please hahaha

I have and it was good, but nearly as good as the Brazilian restaurant we usual go to, Texas de brazil

It's definitely a place for an "adult" dinner. Go hungry, and reserve a few hours of your night for the occasion.
Don't fill up on the salad bar!
They try and bring you the cheaper meats first (chicken/etc) don't fill up on these - hold out for the filet and more expensive cuts!
The busier times you go (fri night etc) the more different meat choices are available.
-all this advice comes from the vegetarian who gets dragged to a churrascaria for every single birthday.

To be honest, it is not my favorite Brazilian steakhouse but I wouldn't turn it down if someone was paying.

It's good but after a while all the meats started tasting the same. I couldn't eat anywhere close $50 worth. You need to eat a lot of the veggies at the buffet to offset all the meats. I never went back. The free dessert for your birthday is good though.

Yum, Yum, YUMMO!!! I'm a total carnivore as well and I stuffed myself silly there! So good! Definitely a fun, tasty place to celebrate your birthday! And happy early birthday!

@babyjmama: it's sooooo good! The meat is great and so is everything else. Don't get carried away with the salad bar.. They definitely tempt you!

My dad has been dying to go. I think he's waiting for us to make a trip home so he has someone to enjoy it with. I've always heard great things!
