I just got a new Dell laptop (Latitude E6540) at work. It's ok... the graphics seem a bit worse than I'm used to, but it's a lot lighter than my old (2009) Dell laptop. I wouldn't choose a Dell if I had a choice.

I bought a XPS 2.5 years ago and haven't had any problems with it! I've always bought dell, (4 so far) and only one of them had a problem with the video card which they actually did recall but never notified me. I was not happy about that at all. My first one from 10 years ago is still good too, my dad has continued to use it daily since I gave it to him 5 years ago.

Nope, DH switched to a HP after his last one crapped out.
