We haven't had cable for a few years now and I really don't miss it. We find our shows through netflix, hulu or over the air channels, and for the most part it works fine. Plus our bill was completely out of control, so it was really nice to stop having to pay that!

We canceled ours several years ago. Comcast would just add random charges all the time and we didn't really watch much TV so it felt like a huge waste of time to have to call them all the time and money, since we didn't watch much. We ended up getting a netflix watch instantly and its been good for us bw that and hulu.

we actually haven't had a tv at all for 3 or 4 years now. if we want to watch a movie, we watch it on the laptop & I honestly have no idea what the shows are that are out now, so I don't feel like I'm missing anything by not being able to watch something weekly. the few shows that I've heard of that I've actually wanted to watch {downton abbey.... and I can't think of anything else}, I was able to view via netflix {season 1} & pbs's website {season 2}. I think that most shows are now available via the station's website if you're willing to wait a couple of days to see it.
