We aren't back to normal either. R likes to wake up at 4:30 and make noises. She's been up by 5:30 for the past few days but today she's been making noises since after 6....getting there...hopefully.

One of my coworkers said it always took his daughters about a week to adjust to the time change! So hopefully you'll only have to suffer through a few more days until R's used to it!

We are in the same boat...yesterday it was 4:45...today it was 5:15am. I'm hoping he moves it back to closer to 6am by the weekend.

@Smurfette: you're not alone...LO usually wakes up closer to 7am but yesterday, he woke up at 6 and this morning he woke up at 5:30am.

We're loving the time change in the morning. I was having a hard time getting DS up and ready for school. Now that the sun is shining, he gets up 10 minutes before I used to wake him up!

E goes to bed at 7:30 like usual, then is up at 5am (thinking it is 6) on the dot.

@Smurfette: I would say I love that too, but we drive directly into the sun lol

At least it's comforting to read we're not alone! My youngest has been up at 4:45 all week, his usual wake up is 6:30 so it's even earlier than the 1 hour "fall back." Ugh! Naptime and bedtime are at the regular time now, a couple days he took a longer nap than usual. Do they really adjust and start sleeping later? My older son never had an issue so I am not sure what to do?!

Also hoping today is a trend towards normalcy. DS went to sleep last night at 7:15 and woke up this morning exactly 12 hours later. Yay for after 7 wake up time!

C still hasn't adjusted...she used to sleep from 11pm-7am but since the time change her sleep has been all over the place. By 930 every night she is so exhausted and overtired. Last night she did 930-230, I fed her, then 3-830. I was spoiled with her sleep, I'm not used to these middle of the night wakeups!

@Smurfette: eh my LO never followed that rule. I bet the earlier bedtime tonight will help!

I agree with @scg00387 to try putting her down earlier. We've been putting M down an hour earlier and she's been sleeping til she used to and sometimes even later. It's worth a shot!

Thank goodness we aren't the only ones. Up at 4am this morning and 5:30 yesterday. I think she is all messed up. I want her back to 6:30 or 7am that was so nice.

@JoJoGirl: it has been my experience that earlier is better. I will even put LO down at the same time if she has a late nap. She has never been one to sleep in later when put to bed later. A later bedtime for us means the same--or even less--nighttime sleep.

@Smurfette: Ah well, it was just a fluke, but it gave me hope! LO has gotten up at 4:30 and 4:45 the last two days, but I think I need to put her to bed right around 6. I can't really blame her for the 4:30 wakeup (that was the night she got sick right at bedtime), and this morning she alllllmost made it to 5 (but I didn't put her down until 6:30 last night). *sigh* I guess I need to stick to the 5:50-6 p.m. bedtime for a few days and see how that pans out. One step forward . . . !
