DS is 13 months old, and we attend a small baby class where he's the oldest one there. He seems to be the only one NOT interested in the younger babies - the ones who are not yet mobile and just laying around. Other LOs are interested in the babies, but somehow, DS is not interested at all! He's also not interested in baby dolls either. When I present one to him, he pushes it away and goes towards something else. I just find this strange. He's curious about so many things, yet not babies whatsoever??!! Weird!!

My nephew and my friend's sons are 100% not interested in my baby girl. My friend's girls, however....fascinated.

@blackbird: @banana: Omg, wow! So do you think this is an innate "boy" thing? Then again, there is another boy in class who is somewhat interested. He at least goes up to them.

@cranberryapple: I don't know! I think some boys, yes. I know some boys who love babies so it think it might also just do with their personalities. Well, my son wasn't interested in babies at all in the beginning. But now he loves them! He even walks around carrying a little baby in his arms. So you just never know!

I dunno why that made me a bit teary-eyed! I hope my DS will eventually like babies, but I won't force him to. =P

DD couldn't care less. She is too busy doing her own thing. It'll be interesting to see what happens when #2 comes along.
